Not really... since most scientists are rarely honest enough to promote
such
a viewpoint, even among those that secretly hold to it, though the list is
growing.
If you want to challenge him making the statement, I suggest you write to
him.... Other than that, he's just one person out of thousands expressing
the anthropic principle, which is widely known and excepted.
