No it doesn't. That only dictates which of the thousands of religions he
or she then follows, and that is almost always set by whatever culture
the person lives in. 

All religions claim to be "correct" and have a "real" god, so whichever
one is chosen answers that question by default. The fact they can't all
be correct or have the real god doesn't seem to bother them; they are
convinced *theirs* is the right one. 

Of course, as countless people have said before, there's no evidence
whatsoever that any of them are correct.
