Nope. It is impossible to arrive at that conclusion by logic and/or common
sense. And by "common sense" I'm not refering to your *opinion* of what
common sense is, I'm referring to what is ratrionally considered by the
majority of all people to be common sense. I'd wager that your "common
sense" is based on presumptions of that which you intend to prove and thus
you'd be using cirgular logic.
That conclusion cannot be arrived at through logic. That fact is so well
known that any well educated scientist/philosopher will tell you that. As
Richard Feynman (One of this centuries greatest physicist) said in his
book
"The Meaning of if All," page 36
---------------------------------------------------------
The thrid possibility of explanation of the phenomena is that the young
man
perhaps doesn't understand science correctly, that science cannot disprove
God and that a belief in science and religion is consistent. I agree that
science cannot disprove the existance of God. I absolutely agree. I also
agree that a belief in science and religion is consistent. I know many
scientists who believe in God.
---------------------------------------------------------
The first two possibilities are very closely related to this one. I can
scan
the relavent pages and make them avaible online so the reader can see what
the context is from which this quote is taken from.
But by all means please do so, i.e. prove that "He uses brains, common
sense
and logic and discovers that all gods are invented by man." Again, please
do
not use any assumptions of yours since they most likely will be designed
so
that you'd arrive at the answer you seek and end up being circular logic.
If
you make a postulate then explain why you believe that postulate holds
under
any and all conditions.
