However if you are wrong, you may be missing out on something so great
that it is beyond your imagination. Notice my reply to the poster and
see if any of it sounds reasonable:

"The Bible helps "one to know if any is the correct one". One way is
to try to prove as much as you can of what that religion teaches. 1 Th
5:21,

"Prove all things; hold fast that which is good." (KJV)

Or as it words it in another place: 1 Jo 4:1,

"Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to
see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone
out into the world." (NIV)

Thus the Bible does not promote credulity. It want you to investigate
it thoroughly. For those searching for a true religion, that should at
least show you the religion of the Bible takes a reasonable approach
to itself. (see also Eph 4:5)
