Most people have "blind faith" on those near and dear, or no one would
dare go to sleep. Even if you knew the entire history of those, and could
extrapolate behaviour accurately, people are not machines and could change
suddenly. We NEED "blind faith" for our peace of mind.
The logical reason for blind faith is our need to choose continually
between the dictates of extrapolation and the law of averages.
