This is a typical example of Christospeak though I have seen
better.
Unfortunately the only language I understand is plain English
and a smattering of German so the above is mostly as intelligible
to me as Serbo-Croat or Mandarin Chinese.
The problem of course is that if we challenge them to explain
them they either do not answer, get confused or get annoyed. I
suspect they don't want us to analyse what they write just be
impressed by its emotion of it. Of course the more simple
minded and naive you are the more you will be impressed by
it.
It certainly looks looks impressive on first scanning with
phrases such as, "The power of the Good News" (note caps for
emphasis)," revelation and truth are revealed to the heart", "the
mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven" Even his description of birth is
expressed in a highly emotional and colourfull way (flesh gives birth
to flesh) but it soon begins to fall apart when looked at with
a more critical eye.
It soo becomes clear is a triumph of presentation over content as
it does not stand close scrutiny. I suspect all this signifies
mostly nothing. Empty phrases to paper over a worthless belief
and self-delusion into a world of fantasy dreamed up by an
impoverished mind. He is not so much trying to convince us as
himself.
So what we need is a Christospeak - English dictionary if
we are going to make any sense of passages like this.
I was going to make some tentative suggestion but my
post got overlong. So I have selected just one, the
one that appears at first sight to be the most impressive:
revelation and truth are revealed to the heart.
=
you can so convince yourself by pretending this god is real
that in your self-delusion your mind start seeing what it
wants to see.
("revealed to the heart" is just an an emotional
way of saying "my mind has started seeing what it
wants to see)
