    Our Christian "God is love" (1 John 4:8,16) and all attempts to 
logically analyse and quantify  love scientifically is of course
ludicrous. 
I'm sure you already have decided, whether you want reason and logic be
the 
arbitrator of your moral and ethical decisions, or look toward love to 
decide. Christ believes logic and reason are corruptible, whereas love in 
not, and He proved His love for us, who in no way deserve His love, by 
laying down His life for the love of us, rather than suck up to Caiaphas
the 
High Priest, so as to show Himself to be just one of the boys doing his 
thing, and thus to escape execution.
