Creationism as a personal belief - though demonstrably irrational (as
opposed to religious belief in general which is merely presumed
irrational) - is a problem only for the individual, who prefers wilful
ignorance to knowledge.
Creationism forced on others is of course abusive and should be
opposed pro****tionally and reasonably.

Imposed prayer is abusive and immoral, and should be opposed

Discrimination against ANYONE based on religion is abusive and
immoral, and should... you get the idea.

But Dawkins does not respond to 'theists bringing up their beliefs
inappropriately'. If he limited himself to that, I'd have no problem
- as I'd have no problem with any atheist here expressing the same
reaction. But Dawkins attacks religion and the religious,
universally, in all cir***stances; depending largely on the militant
atheist straw men that religious people are less intelligent, and that
the very concept of religion is intrinsically dangerous. He is as
much an angry fundamentalist as anyone preaching the supposed and
irrelevant word of their God. Blinkered fanaticism is no substitute
for sense and reason, no matter what grand words it might be dressed
up in. It is intrinsically abusive, and contributes to extremism,
mistrust, fear and hatred.
