Resurrect Isis re-introduction

by "William W" <willmoore@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 15, 2008 at 01:47 PM

Hello All,

I haven't posted anything on this group for a long time. I'm an evemerist
Pagan. I'm the author of the Resurrect Isis website,
www.resurrectisis.org.
Check it out.

My evemerist argument is that the gods and goddesses of old began as real
people. They were deified ancestors who were loved and revered for their
works and teachings during their lifetimes. They weren't just fictional
characters. The enlightened and long enduring civilization that was Egypt
wasn't founded on the imaginary deeds of fictional characters. The legends

of American heroes like George Washington and Daniel Boone have taken on
larger-than-life characteristics, but they were real people. American
civilization wasn't founded on the imaginary deeds of fictional
characters.

In his book "The Story of the Irish Race," Seumas MacManus argues that
"The
fact that myths grow around great people must not lead us to conclude that

the people were mythical."

Isis was the mother goddess of Egyptian genealogy, religion and
civilization. According to the foundation legend, Isis resurrected
Assur(Osiris) from the dead. The belief in an afterlife and the
construction
of the pyramids was all based on the resurrection of Assur. Isis copulated

with her resurrected king. From that union with her resurrected king, Isis

begat the father of Pharaohs and the entire bloodline of "divine kings" of

the whole Pagan world. Isis didn't really resurrect a dead man. That is an

allegorical tale that is discussed more thoroughly on the Resurrect Isis
website.

The divine kings of the old Pagan world ruled by "divine rights" because
they were "descendants of the gods." They all traced their divinity back
to
Isis and the resurrection of Assur(Osiris). Alexander the Great was in
Egypt
3000 years after the resurrection of Assur trying to trace his own
divinity
from Isis and Assur, not from the Greek gods. The name Caesar contains the

name Assur. C + Assur = Caesar. They were Pagan kings descended from Isis
and her resurrected king.

Isis was the "Serpent Goddess" mother goddess. Obviously, Biblical Eve who

spoke to the serpent in the Garden of Eden is a demonized version of Isis.

Isis was the ancestral mother of the whole Pagan world. "Daughters of
Isis,"
daughters of Pharaohs, who were pedigreed certified "virgin" descendants
of
the original Isis, were married into the ruling families of the old Pagan
kingdoms where they in turn became the mother goddesses of numerous
civilizations. We all have one or more of those Pagan kings and their Isis

queens in our ancestry. We are a world family of Isis' children. As of
now,
I may be the only Evemerist Pagan on the planet, but as time passes, I
believe more people will come around to that point of view.

Respectfully,
Will Moore
