alphabet

<br>Phoenician scripts to the North Semitic alphabet . . ." The Etruscan
<br>alphabet is not the Roman alphabet. The Greek alphabet, the one
they're
<br>using now, is not the Phoenician alphabet. They're different
alphabets.
All
<br>of the so called research on the subject begins with a presumption.
There
<br>was a North Semitic alphabet; there is a modern Roman alphabet; there
were
<br>some other alphabets in between, therefore, they must all have
originated
<br>from the same source. All of the research has focused on filling in
their
<br>presumed connections.
<p>Yes, the North Semitic alphabet or Proto-Canaanite did evolve from
earlier
