In theory - assuming we disregard the words 'tribe' and 'sovereign'.  
'Sovereign' still tends to imply royalty, and you did manage (if only 
narrowly) to avoid imposing on yourselves in your new nation; and what 
you and we did to the tribes in America wasn't terribly 'advanced'.

But still, you're flapping.  I know how America's government works.  
What I'm asking you is what (apart from rabid US nationalism) makes you 
assume it is a better form of democracy than the world's others - and 
indeed by what measure democracy is shown to be more 'advanced' than 
other forms of government.
