Are you (OBVES), Harold Camping, Ronald Weinland & The Watchtower
Bible And Tract Society All False Prophets? Simple.

Deut 18:22
22 If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take
place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That
prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.

Hi Carl. Thanks for noting how to expose a false prophet. But are YOU
guilty by association?

Ezra 6:14,15 confirms that Darius I only ruled for six years and that
Xerxes
and Artaxerxes were the same king. Compare Daniel 11:2.

Oh wait. I can't really be sure if you look at these scriptures on your
own
that you will actually understand completely and come to the right
conclusion, so I guess I should do a little handholding and show you how
these scriptures prove this. I'll do the thinking for you.

First Ezra 6:14,15

14 "And the older men of the Jews were building and making progress under

the prophesying of HagŽgai the prophet and Zech·a·riŽah the grandson of
IdŽdo, and they built and finished [it] due to the order of the God of
Israel and due to the order of Cyrus and Da·riŽus and Ar·ta·xerxŽes the
king
of Persia. 15 And they completed this house by the third day of the lunar
month AŽdar, that is, in the sixth year of the reign of Da·riŽus the
king."

Okay. What does this scripture tell us?

1. Which kings worked on the temple: Cyrus, Darius and Artaxerxes.
2. Which is the last king who worked on the temple: Artaxerxes.
3. Which year the temple was completed: The 6th of Darius!

Question:

How could Artaxerxes be the last king to work on the temple and it be
completed in the sixth of Darius?

Answer:

Because of the accession year system at Babylon. Ezra was at Babylon so
used the accession year system. That system always named the year after
the king who was ruling when that year began in the spring. If the king
died, the successor would begin his rule the following spring as year 1.
Things that occurred during the time after the previous king's death would

be dated to the "accession year" of that king. Thus, for example, when
Artaxerxes completed the temple, texts would be dated to: "Year 6,
accession year, Artaxerxes."

Thus we learn something else. Year 6 of Darius was the accession year of
ARTAXERXES.

Question:

How can this be when we know historically that Xerxes followed Darius I on

the throne? This is well do***ented.

Answer:

The Persians kings customarily adopted a new name when they became king.
Thus Darius I was Ochus, Artaxerxes II was Mnemon, Artaxerxes III was
Ochus, and Darius III was Cadomannus. There is an extant text dated to
year 38 of a king named "Arses [Xerxes] also known as Artaxerxes."
Meaning
the Bible may simply have referred to Xerxes as "Artaxerxes" if that was
the
new name he adopted. This is confirmed, however, by Daniel 11:2. Let's
go
there:

Daniel 11:2
"Look! There will yet be three kings standing up for Persia, and the
fourth
one will amass greater riches than all [others]. And as soon as he has
become strong in his riches, he will rouse up everything against the
kingdom
of Greece."

The fourth king in line from Cyrus was the successor of Darius I, Xerxes.
As the scriptures also show and as historically confirmed, indeed, Xerxes
did launch a major campaign against Greece. So this prophecy was
fulfilled.
But since at Ezra 6:14,15 the Bible calls the successor to Darius I by the

name of "Artaxerxes" we know that Xerxes and Artaxerxes were the same
king!

Kings after Cyrus: Cambyses (Ahauerus, Ezra 4:6), Bardiya/Smerdis
(Artaxerxes, Ezra 4:7), Darius I, XERXES/ARTAXERXES.

The fact that the Bible limits the rule of Darius I to just six years when

secular history assigns him a longer reign of 36 years, and the fact that
the Bible calls the successor of Darius I who would fight against Greece
"Artaxerxes", only means that Xerxes faked his own death, claiming he was
his own son and to make Darius old enough to be his grandfather, added 30
years to his rule. It's just that simple.

Archaeological evidence and cryptic historical references confirm this.
For
instance, Xerxes is not buried in the tomb at Naq****-Rustam following that

of Darius I, it is Artaxerxes, then followed by Darius II. It should
have
been Darius, Xerxes, Artaxerxes; instead it is Darius I, Artaxerxes,
Darius
II. But that is precisely as it should be if Xerxes and Artaxerxes were
the same king, thus: Darius I, Xerxes/Artaxerxes, Darius II. See?
There
is an inconsistency in the burials, but consistent with the Bible.

Bottom line is, the Persian Period ended up 82 years longer than it really

is, something that is not reflected in historical references. Martin
Anstey
noticed the 82 extra years when he compared the Bible's timeline with that

of secular history. He used the "70 weeks" prophecy to determine that the

1st of Cyrus must have been c. 455 BCE since the rebuilding of Jerusalem
done in the 1st of Cyrus was 483 years before the baptism of Christ.
Since
the pagan records reflected a date 82 years earlier, he concluded--and
right
so--that the Persian Period was 82 years too long.

Only now, we have researched this and discovered where the extra years
are:

Kambyses (Ahasuerus) +1, 7 instead of 8. He ruled one co-ruler****p year
with his father Cyrus which was converted to a sole ruler year.

Darius I: As noted, he only ruled for 6 years per the Bible, but had
added
30 years. That's 31 years so far!

Xerxes: Xerxes and Artaxerxes were the same king so the 21-year rule of
Xerxes overlaps with Artaxerxes. That's 52 years so far!

Artaxerxes II: This king ruled longer than any other Persian king per
secular history, a total of 47 years. However, there is no historical
confirmation of what he did during this very long rule. Ktesias, however,

claims he was his physician for 17 years. If this was the true length of
his reign, then his reign is 30 years too long. This gives us 82 years
of
fake Persian history, easily removed.

FALSE PROPHETS AND TEACHERS: Therefore, as part of your campaign against
false prophets and false teachers, you need to include the academic world
that teaches that Xerxes and Artaxerxes were father and son when they were

not, or that Darius I ruled only 6 years instead of 36, confirmed by the
Bible itself!

WHY SUPPRESSED? For one thing, if the true timeline were acknowledged, it

would confirm that Jesus Christ was the messiah who was to appear 483
years
after Jerusalem began to be rebuilt in the 1st of Cyrus. Thus this serves

any antichrists out there. The antichrist controls pagan history.

You now have the truth. The truth shall set you free! But only if you
accept the Bible's truth and reject Satan's world of lies.
