Since it is so difficult for many to understand the predictions of the
end of the world I have come up with a simplified answer that a 10-
year old child should understand.
If God Yahweh gave us in the Bible the exact date of the end of the
world we would know the exact time of the end of the world ! But we
read in the Bible only God knows the time- Matthew 24.36.
Since the date is not given in the Bible we can only make the
assumptions based on our best possible knowledge of the Bible when
the end of the world can take place.
So our predictions are not 100% certain to take place but they are
expectations resulting from our best as possible understanding of the
Bible.
So someone who thinks and is convinced fully he has possibly the
best knowledge of the Bible should make such prediction in his faith
believing the chances are reasonable for the end of the world to take
place.
My good advice to anyone interested in the end-time predictions -and
any true christian should be interested in this matter - is to check
out all those preachers who predict the end giving the time how their
views stack against the Bible . He that has the best understanding of
the Bible should be trusted in his prediction most. That would mean
that person has come out with the best prediction and for that to
happen that predicting person should have the best views on the Bible
in a given moment.
So if you come across three or four prominent preachers who predict
the end you have to pinpoint which one has better understanding of
the Bible , so a better prediction !
Most likely they will not have the same views so you have an easy
task in this sense that you must choose only one as the best preacher.
