Preface:
Please don=92t lie to me or any other unless they want to be lied to.
Below is a definition of freedom. If freedom leaves a bad taste in
your mouth, then I sincerely believe the path of ECK is not for you. I
try to walk my talk and extend our principles beyond our borders, but
then I am not a pilgrim who breaks his promises. I am a turtle who
prefers to listen and observe. You may be one too if you choose to
make consciousness your religion. JR
US CONSTITUTION, Article 1, Section 9, Clause 2:
The Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended,
unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may
require it. [notice which words are capitalized for a reason]
Habeas corpus was not suspended. It was stricken from the Constitution
without a Constitutional Convention by Public Law 109-366, Sections
2, 5, 7 signed by our favorite cracker, G. W. Bush, on October 17,
2006. Abdullah al-Muhajir is a US citizen who was not allowed Habeas
Corpus. Move to a Latino or Carib community and observe how easy it is
for US citizens to be de****ted or imprisoned without Habeas Corpus.
Mental hospitals have also been used to falsely imprison citizens
whose only problem (Oregon) was to speak a Mexican Indian dialect as
read about in The Drums of ECK which no-one understood and
professional doctors thought to be psychotic rambling; not panic.

As I spoke rightly before, Ken, et al; the bogeyman resides in our own
hearts; no-one else=92s. Sandinistas have not gone to ground and are not
hiding in your basement using your computer without your knowledge.
Neo-con philosopher king, Leo Strauss, advocated suspending the
Constitution to make political management easier without freedoms
being imposed on dictator-radicals to force them out of power. Al-
Qaida is a neo-con invention that materialized as a mocking salute to
them for unifying the Wahabi fundamentalists of Islam. (More on
Wahabies may be found in Robertson=92s Short History of Free Thought.)

=93Much has been written recently about Strauss and his ideological
influence on the Bush administration, and opinion varies from seeing
Strauss as a loyal defender of Democracy to seeing him as a dangerous
foe of Democracy. He is neither. He is a would-be philosopher whose
Old World fears and prejudices took him, the political right wing and
American democracy backward instead of forward. Strauss, like most
conservative Americans, simply did not understand Jeffersonian
democracy at all.=94 --Dr. Gerry Lower, Keystone, South Dakota (Dr.
Lower sees Mount Rushmore daily from where he sits.)
