Dear ChelaChat [a Yahoo group]

by JR <JohnRClark@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 23, 2008 at 02:19 AM

Thank-you for proving my point., Alan et al.

Balance requires a standard to measure one's Self against. The book,
Far Country, which does not appear to be available from ECKANKAR at
this time, names the standard. I challenge you to name it. You may
think of this post on a.r.e as an example of equilibrium, a word which
few ECKists, if any, have learned to use.

This means that what may appear out of sorts to you or anyone else
(e.g. mental illness being a fact of life and reincarnation a myth
when it is vice versa in reality) is really a reflection of your
degree of understanding which cannot be fairly or honestly projected
onto another. Using the standard I pointed to above will allow you to
define balance, not by focusing on imbalance and looking for examples
of it, but by knowing how to adjust your personality to a reality that
does not change and is above the MEST worlds (Matter, Energy, Space
and Time) of perpetual change or Maya.

As stated in the Shariyat, humankind is trained in the ways of the
negative from birth. Any parallel we find (the scales of balance and
algebra are two examples of how we apply the concept) need to be
defined in a state of love, the Mahanta's Love as found in the Ocean
of Love and Mercy (nothing to do with Freud's oceanic feeling), which
is greater and more true than a mother's for her child.

With Love, (not the common variety I hear overused so much as if it
were squeezed from a tube of liquid cheese to form a hostile pun)

PS: If anyone feels my original thinking makes the group consciousness
"not" balanced, please feel welcome to address me personally and
explain it in such a way that recognizes how the bogyman really lives
in your heart and no-one else's.

PPS: R. Smith, saw you nosing around over in orkut. What's up? Maybe
you could explain to the haughty, the holier-than-thou, the
patronizing, the cult-think types, and the smarmy for me that
credibility begins with being able to laugh at ones self which is what
the comic strips are all about? Please inform them that being
resistant to group think is the single redeeming factor fundamentalist
religions. These are the type of people the North Koreans found
impossible to brainwash using the same techniques as our educators do
in grades K-12 and higher ed.
