Science is 'baby steps' into an exploration of the nature of the
universe. A caveman discovers the wheel or the sharp rock and all of a
sudden he is lord of all he surveys. It's the same with scientists.
They have discovered a few fundamental principles of a few things and
all of a sudden they are lords of all they survey.
What if the gods or God put life forms on the earth or into the oceans
and they evolved? Things evolve very fast, Cane toads were brought to
Australia a few decades ago and already they have evolved longer legs,
and if you look at a photo of the old days you can tell that people
were entirely different than they are today. They've evolved due to
the pressures of variables.
The Bible says that originally God created the universe in the middle
of the waters and that made some waters stay above the universe and
some stay below which became our seas. The Hindus say the original God
dwells in a liquid atmosphere and creates bubbles inside the liquid in
which he creates universes. It's the same concept as separating the
waters into above and below by creating a universe in the middle. If
you've seen StarGate and how the gate opens into a liquid which is all
around us on another dimension, then that gives an idea of how we are
actually a dry energy universe in the middle of a liquid dimension we
cannot perceive. The scriptures explain that God creates universes in
the middle of his waters. This is a simple way of saying that God is
on a liquid dimension and we are on a dry energy dimension within the
liquid.
Lobsang Rampa teaches that if you hold a crystal glass of water in
your hands every day as you meditate, and keep the glass of water in a
dark place, then after a while a tiny universe forms inside the glass
and you can see heavenly bodies flitting around and all sorts of
cosmic events. This is because we are the children of God and we also
have the power to create energy universes within liquid. Except the
true God is infinitely more powerful than us and we are living in the
energy universe he created from his own body inside the liquid
dimension wherein he dwells.

So you can see that in the beginning there were waters above the
firmament (The sky) and waters below it (the seas). Originally they
were the same waters but God separated them. Then God put vegetation
on the earth and life into the seas, which then came forth onto the
land and multiplied and evolved into all the different creatures we
know of.
Now religion is a simplified story-like version of reality told to
ancient peoples in ways they could comprehend. Of course we are going
to need more details in this day and age, and they will come.
What the scientists will eventually discover is that the waters above
the heavens, or in another dimension we cannot see, is where life
first came from into our own waters, and from there it evolved. But
higher and lower do not apply in this respect for the higher waters
are simply more subtle because they are on another dimension which is
all around us and not some place else.
So science is taking baby steps towards understanding reality and
religion speaks in baby language to try and teach people extremely
profound concepts which describe things beyond our perception or
ability to study in a lab just now.
