[I'll probably be corrected here, but] I've always understood "all
nations" (e.g. Luk 24:47) to mean the known world of the time.

So, if Acts was written c.63 (

) , the Roman world was just about covered.

Of the Great Commission -
Matthew reached Ethiopia
Mark died in Egypt
John was in prison in Greece but died in Turkey
Peter stayed in Jerusalem
James the Just was died in Jerusalem
James (son of Zebedee) died in Jerusalem
Bartholomew (or Nathanael) went to Turkey but died in Armenia
Thomas went to India
Barnabas got stoned in Greece  :-)
