Here are some arguments against believing that Jesus is son of God.
Please have a look and come back with your
comments:
As far as i know, there is absolutely no justification in
believing that Jesus is a son of God. Because:
1. Before him, prophets used to come and guide people. Some
people believed them and some opposed. So can the ones who opposed
could be same in the eyes of God as those who obeyed? If not who will
gain salvation and without Jesus how?
2. Why God sent His son, knowing that he will die on the cross?
Will you send your son to such a dangerous place?
3. If God is the final authority, why could not He pardon those
who repent their sins, before death.
4. All the prophets, descending from holy prophet Abraham,
including Moses, Joseph and John the Baptist said God is One and He
has no son or daughter. How all that changed with advent of Jesus.
5. Jesus did not say even once that He was son of God. Go
through the whole New Testament and you will find Jesus calling
himself "son of Adam", but not once, son of God. So who put these
words in his mouth?
6. All the gospels were written at least 90 years after ascent
of Jesus. Why the clergy hides "Gospel of Barnabas", which was written
during the life time of Jesus on his orders? That Gospel says Jesus
was a man and He forbade people to call him God or Son of God.
7. If Jesus was to become the source for salvation of mankind,
he should have either come at the beginning of time or at end of time,
so as to cover all the humanity.
8. By not accepting Holy Prophet Muhammad, a true prophet, the
clergy is implying that God has forgotten us. Does our Holy Lord, Who
gives us three square meals, every single day, can forget food for our
soul? Two thousand years have passed and no prophet came. Can you
believe it?
9. The clergy has shamelessly thrown away code of conduct which
Jesus followed his whole earthly life, ie Torah, saying that
salvation depends on believing in Jesus alone. What about two
believers of Jesus, one is righteous and honest and the other is
dishonest and corrupt. Would they both be entitled to salvation?
Thank you for your time.
