Hello,
Astrology is a study based on stars and planets etc, yet by most it is
considered a bogus science. Does that mean that astronomy is bogus
also, since it studies stars and planets as well? Obviously, each
thing should be weighed by its own merits. It is the same with
religion.
Some religions are obviously bogus, such as the Heaven's Gate religion
where all those people committed suicide. But many are not so obvious.
And just because there are bogus religions out there, doesn't mean
that there might not be a true one.
The "one faith" religion based on the Bible (Eph 4:5), claims to be
the true one. Why not give the Bible a chance by weighing the evidence
for yourself, that it presents to its readers.
Sincerely, James
