Salvation is by grace thru faith;
where is the faith to be placed?
The tendency of people has been
to trust in part in themselves,
efforts, churches and ordinances.
The great concern of the church
has always been to keep
trust for salvation
entirely on the Lord Jesus Christ.
In the early church,
the Gentiles were not to come under
the law of Moses.
Many centuries later,
believers were brought out from
a church system of trust in ritual and self.
Now in our day,
relatively few understand
that the righteousness for salvation
is not our own
but that of Christ credited to be ours
who place all our trust in him.
The need for the good news of the gospel
is not only on the other side of the earth;
it is needed around the world.
But the Lord always has people that place
their entire trust for salvation in him.
