Re: THE PROBLEM WITH ADAM?

dear Risto Karttunen

> This is about consequences which bring about responsibility and guilt.

consequences come from the choices we make.
responsibility is a judgement by others that says someone is good at
responding.
guilt is the byproduct of not being invovled. when we get involved
there is no guilt.

> We are responsible and guilty,

no need to be, we can just being humans on the ladder waiting to get
on the next wrung.

> reflective consciousness.

we are like animals in our instincts
we are like animals in the function of our bodies.
and you can call a cat into the room.
and a dog seems to know when to hold it.

> We are capable of saying "I",

that may be the problem lol.

> we are able to
> look at ourselves and see our very nakedness before God.

each other is more like it.
we are always naked to god and it don't involved naked bodies.

> Animals
> aren't.

we all got souls.
some hide them better than others.

> It was inevitable.

it was their choice.
they could have chosen differently.

yet it was most hoped for by the rest of us waiting to get onto earth
for the first time.

that has to be learned. a child knows none of these things.
a child does not see their actions as evil or good.

> and we are mortal.

who is mortal?
you are a human, all humans have eternal life.
all animals live for ever too.
no one dies.
jesus is not dead, nebukanezer is not dead.

satan is more alive today than ever, and satan has lived for eternity
in the book.

> If

say something you know about.

> we were immortal,

we are, well all have eternal life.
we all live as long as god's creation exists.

> we
> would also be immoral (or rather amoral),

playing games with words is fun.

a child does not know local morality.
a child must be taught to hate outsiders.

> I think. Angels are not
> moral beings,

angels are not real. they are archs of light.

> they are terrible as Rilke wrote.

have your own opinion?

> Of course I know that I must die.

you are so identified with you human body you see loosing it as death?
then you miss the whole point of jesus life and teachings.

you dwell on romes view of jesus.
you dewll on romes limited view of the world.

come back to jesus teachings. not that of your roman translators.
>
> > >That knowledge is a very heavy burden.

nah it is fun.
>
> > No it isn't. Death is a blessing, not a curse.

there is no death, there is only changing our human clothes.

this conversation is about the known,
this conversation was conforting to both sage and the author of this
thread.
yet is it pure superstition of things told by others and practiced
before being repeated.

come out of your memorized world of facts and situations.
come out of your rehearsed thoughts and formalities.
find jesus love, find the father and jump this ship like jesus did.

there is so much more to life when you stop killing people for your
religion.
there is so much more to offer then you start loving everyone and
seeing the boon of eternal life.

in love with the living gay jesus,

merlin
