Re: THE PROBLEM WITH ADAM?

by Merlin <merlinator@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > May 7, 2008 at 12:58 PM

Dear, The_Sage

> In the Garden of Eden, where God placed Adam on the sixth day,

what is the meaning of the number six?
numberology was studied greatly during the period of the writing of
this story.
and that number would tell us something about what was so important
about the sixth day.

> God had also
> planted a very special tree there which he called "The tree of knowledge
o=
f good
> and EVIL".

ginko baloba? it works wonders on the brain.

the tree of the knowledge. can you imagine eating knowledge from a
tree.
have heard of the ancients eating written words to gain more of the
meaning.
yet never heard of a tree that spouts knowledge.

where do you thing this idea of a plant that can liberate?
do you think this was the same tree jesus was crucified on?
symbolically even?

> Where did God get His knowledge of evil when he created the tree of
> knowledge of good and evil --

don't think god had any, god created this world to learn about this
world, not cause god already knew it.

and is not good and evil one of the rule of the universe?
opposite sides of the same coin?
opposite charges that create the magnetism that holds us all together?
so we can't have this universe with out magnetism, without polar
opposites.

> from His heart or from His head?

neither, god wanted to know about god, so god invented the universe
and the world.
we use toy trucks and dolls and learn about real life when we are
young.
god was young then too.

> Why didn't God
> have Satan create the tree of knowledge of evil instead?

he is the one that is telling eve about the fruit from that tree?
satan doesn't create. satan reacts. satan does the obvious.
read the instructions to satan from god in the book of job.

also, when there is no polarity there can be no opposite.
and until the universe was formed satan could not be manifest.

> Maybe because Satan
> couldn't create a tree evil enough for God to look down on and declare
"an=
d it
> was good"?

who is the creator of the experiment?
god? or satan? it is up to the one creating the situation to define
it.
after it is created, we all seem have been given this world finished.

> Which is more evil:

there is no evil, when there is polarity.
all life is polarized, so god asks us to invision a lack of polarity
and dwell there until we escape this duality of life.

> the person who does an evil deed

there is no evil.
there is attraction, and opposites do attract.
there is polarity tho you can't have one side without the other.
so to say there is evil, is to say there is good.
and relativity is of this world and not of the next.
and we might all want to practice being outside of duality so that
we may learn to live outside of life after we die.

the fear of death, is the unknown, not the unknowable.
we no longer need to fear death when there is no death.
and we escape this world of back and forth.

> or the
> accomplice who teaches that person how to do evil deeds?

there is only you. there is no one else.
all that is around you is you and your consciousness manifest.
there are no evil deeds, there are lessons of consequences for actions
taken.

> Where is the justice in
> that?

we rule our own lives, we judge ourselves, we live in duality or out
of duality.
as jesus says be in it but not of it....... recognize the duality
your terms goodandevil.
see the truth in this and then look for ways of living outside of
this.
what doesn't go bad over time?
what stays with us the longest?
what last forever? cause it seems we have been trapped here forever
doesn't it?

> One day Adam broke one of God's commandments by eating of the Tree of
Evil=

> Knowledge.

yeah really think? where would be had adam not bitten it?
you would not be typing on the computer.

> If Adam was born without knowledge of good and evil

are not babies unknowing of how to use their bodies? is that not being
born without something?
do not children have to learn to curse and call people names for
jesus?
these are not natural to the child, they are influences.

> (and therefore
> had no knowledge of what sin was),

babies don't.

> then how could Adam be blamed for doing evil
> when he ate of the forbidden tree? Where is the justice in that?

adam is blamed by his cousins today. cause everyone is myserable and
not happy.
it isn't adam's fault that america decided to polute the world in the
1950's.
it isn't adam's fault that america went to war in iraq.

we like to blame adam so there is a fall guy for our problems.
we like original sin cause we were not involved then? LOL>

> Adam eventually died as a result that action,

as a result of being alive,
when will humans get to live as long as he again?

> but did Adam gain anything by
> dying?

by living is a better question.
did adam gain anything by living?
no one dies.

> If Adam died

adam is alive today, ask him for help.

> and then continued to live afterwards in heaven,

a soul does not need heaven to survive.

> then sin
> and the resultant death was not a curse,

there is no curse. superstition only works when you put your faith in
superstitious ideas.

> but a blessing because dying is a way
> to go to Heaven.

there is no death, and adam is alive now.

> If Adam continued to live afterwards in Hell,

all these ifs? LOL.

> then it was
> dishonest and unjust for God to not give Adam a fair warning ahead of
time=
,

your pain for adam is imaginary.
god did not stop his experiment after adam, adam was only the
beginning.

> a
> warning that if he sinned he would not just only die,

see adam as liberated, and no longer enslaved by the garden.

we all dream of the day we don't need to live on the farm to survive?
don't we? who among us would want to dedicate their entire lives to
farm work?
it is hard tho very rewarding.

so adam was the first to try to move out of the country and make an
urban life.

> but he would continue to
> live in a terrible place where he would be tortured forever and ever.
Wher=
e is
> the justice in that?

we only have to live on earth for short periods of time, what are you
imagining that happens in the after life?
you make it all sound so unfriendly, you are aware that this life on
earth is the dream and our real lives exist on the other side of the
vail?

> Adam supposedly was created with a body, soul, and spirit.

with both sexes inside.

> When Adam first
> sinned,

adam made a choice that you would call a sin and adam would call
liberation.

and no adam didn't die from chosing to live, adam is still alive now.
would we understand eternal life without day and night?

> which of these parts of Adam was responsible for the sin?

it wasn't a sin. it was a choice god gave, and god really didn't
punish anyone, he sent adam and eve and steve and eddy to earth to
live happily ever after. well that is what god was thinking. you have
other plans don't you?

> If it was the
> body then why must our souls be saved and not our bodies?

nothing needs saving, everything could use a good jujsh.

> If it was soul or
> spirit then why must the body suffer?

the body is part of the universe we are born into.
the body belongs to the world of worms and flowers.
there is no evil in nature.

> When God spoke to Adam in Gen. 3:17-19,
> was he speaking to "Adam the body" or "Adam the soul" or "Adam the
spirit"=
?

which does god use to talk to you?

> =A0If
> you say spirit or soul then why would God mislead Adam by saying from
dust=
 YOU
> were made and to dust YOU will return?

which part is made of dust?
watch the world after humans, everything humans create turns back to
it basic element.
cars rust, roads will crumble, glass will break. maintenance will not
be done.

> Why didn't he truthfully say from dust
> only your body was made and to dust only your body will return?

who wrote the original report?
do you see editors of the bible knowing any more than you know now?
do you not see the agenda of the writers and editors ofthe bible in
your questions?

> Eventually there
> would come Jesus

shiva, krishna, rama, budha, zoraster. there have been many and at
least one in every culture and place on the planet.

> and he was to buy back what Adam lost.

don't want it, you can have it. don't look back you may turn to a
pillar of salt.

> This brings us to the
> question of what exactly did Adam lose?

adam started out as nothing, what is there to loose?

> If Adam was already in Heaven,

what heaven, isn't that another whole topic. focus on the part of adam
you have heard about.

> then he
> didn't need Jesus to die for him because he would already be where he
woul=
d want
> to be.

adam didn't know jesus, adam knew who ever jesus was that life time.
and adam may have reincarnated with jesus in the middle east.

> If Adam was in Hell

if?

> then it was too late!

who says?

> He was already where he
> deserved to be.

so says someone that has never met god.
ask god, these are good questions.
don't be surprised when adam shows up to answer your questions about
adam.

> Wouldn't God have originally wanted Adam to have not sinned?

sin is an archy term, it isn't this big '0' you keep thinking it is.

>=A0If
> you believe in foreordaination,

don't know what it is .........

> you would have to say no, because God had
> preplanned for Adam's failure,

yes.

> therefore God wanted Adam to sin.

god wanted adam to be free. god wanted adam to choose freedom.
or god would not have given adam a choice.

>Where is the
> justice in that?

freedom is better than a garden with sword for an exit.

in love with the loving living gay jesus,

merlin
