Big difference between zero and a positive number. Not just the difference
of 1. Zero means you dont believe the Universe was created by some
intelligent being who owns the universe. Believing in God or gods means
you
do. This is a big difference. In many programming languages a positive
value
means true while zero means false. So the contention of your friend is
wrong.
