Great do***entary to show your college bound kids.
Bad movie to send your athiest/evolutionist friends to see.
Athiests and evolutionists will not be persuaded because we live in the
day
and age where feelings trump reason. What they will see is the Berlin
wall,
some Nazi footage and some Stalinist cuts and they will not understand the
message but will consider the images familiar tactics in debate: slander
and
guilt by association. They use it all the time to dismiss answering any
real questions since "the debate is over", and will see the connection
only
as slander.
I consider this movie encouragement for the troops. It was respectful to
the opponents to ID and didn't push religion. Oddly enough, along with
the
aforementioned observations, the same atheists and evolutionists also find
the movie allegedly disrespectful and akin to a Billy Graham Revival.
The "debate is over" only because they have achieved what they wanted to
achieve. To debate is to allow the possibility to lose ground. Ergo, the
war has been won, now purge all the political enemies.
I file this movie under "Too little too late".
