Yours is an interesting list and intersects mine at some points. Being a
layman my perspective is quite different.
My list would include:
1. The Zondervan KJV Study Bible.
2. The entire body of work by CS Lewis.
3. St Augustine's City of God.
4. Karl Bart's The Epistle to the Romans
5. Ellis' The Seven Pauline Letters
6. Khalil Gibran, The Prophet
7. The Jefferson Bible
8. Bonhoeffer's body of work.
