There is no imminence. As in the days of Noah, the ones being removed from
His wrath will know the day.
Matthew 24:37
But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of
man
be.
Genesis 7:4-5
For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty
days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I
destroy from off the face of the earth. [5] And Noah did according unto
all
that the Lord commanded him.
The flood came unexpectedly upon the rest of the world:
Matthew 24:38-39
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and
drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered
into the ark, [39] And knew not until the flood came, and took them all
away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
The church is to watch to know the hour:
"Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come" (Matt
24:42): "If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a
thief,
and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee" (Rev. 3:3).

"Truly believe?" Anyone who believes truly believes and anyone who doesn't
doesn't believe. Unless you're looking forward to spending eternity in
hell
with the theologians who write the commentaries, books, and papers about
the
Bible, I recommend reading the Bible itself. It tells us that salvation is
by faith through grace, and the saved are an innumerable multitude (Rev
7:9). But the bride (the church) is the few chosen of the many called, and
what was determined before the foundation of the world is that He would
choose the ones who were conformed to the image of Christ: "For whom he
did
foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his
Son,
that he might be the firstborn among many brethren" (Rom 8:29): "Know ye
not
that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So
run,
that ye may obtain" (1 Cor. 9:24).
There are two resurrections: "Marvel not at this: for the time is coming,
in
the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come
forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they
that have done evil, unto the resurrection of judgment" (John 5:28-29).
The
church is the first resurrection (Rev 20:4-5) at the beginning of the day
of
the Lord (2 Pet 3:10), and the rest of the saved are in the resurrection
of
judgment at the end of the day.:

When the day for the bridegroom (Matt 25:1), and the ones who were
prepared
with their lamps burning brightly and full of oil (in the Spirit) when the
hour arrived (25:6) entered into the wedding.
