ACTS 1:
> "9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken
> up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they
looked
> stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in
> white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye
gazing
> up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven,
> shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven." Acts
> 1:8-11 (KJV)
>
Yes. These followers were told not to look up to heaven because Christ
would appear in a physical body just like the one he was in when he was
taken up to heaven. Jesus materialized into physical bodies after his
resurrection over a 40-day period. But he never reappeared in his perfect
body. It was always a different body with different appearances. This
foreshadowed that Christ would not be using his own spiritual body at the
second coming, but be in the body of another individual, someone whom
could
only be recognized as the messiah by the things he did. So one
interpretation of this scripture is that the last body Jesus was in
resembled the body of the person Jesus would enter at the second coming to
return in the flesh. Thus the disciples were told not to gaze up at
heaven
since Jesus would appear as that man again. The scripture is not saying
he
would arrive in the same way, meaning from heaven, but that he would
arrive
in that same physical body.
The Bible indicates thus when he returns he will be in the same type of
body
as every other human:
2 Beloved ones, now we are children of God, but as yet it has not been
made
manifest what we shall be. We do know that whenever he is made manifest we
shall be LIKE HIM, because we shall see him just as he is.
Thus Acts 1 does not contradict Jesus' return in the flesh or visibly.
After all, they did see a physical body, apparently a twin of the body he
would return in at the second coming. And why was that significant?
Because some in Jesus' time "would not see death" until he returned.
Among
those chosen not to die were John and the Apostle Paul. So at least John,
who would not die and live down to our day, had an idea of Jesus' physical
appearance at the second coming because it was the appearance of the last
body Jesus adopted to use before he left; which is rather interesting,
actually.
John 21: 21 Accordingly, when he caught sight of him, Peter said to Jesus:
"Lord, what will this [man do]?" 22 Jesus said to him: "If it is my will
for
him to remain until I come, of what concern is that to you? You continue
following me." 23 In consequence, this saying went out among the brothers,
that that disciple would not die. However, Jesus did not say to him that
he
would not die, but: "If it is my will for him to REMAIN UNTIL I COME, of
what concern is that to you?"
Jesus would not return until 2520 years after the fall of Jerusalem (529
BCE), or 45 years after the Jews return from exile in 1947 (thus 1992).
> "7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they
> also > which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail
because
> of him. Even so, Amen." Rev 1:7-8 (KJV)
>
> They haven't WAILED yet but they will on his Return....
>
Yes they have! They have been "wailing" since the "sign of the son of man
appears in heaven" which began to appear at the birth of the second-coming
messiah, that is, the individual whom Jesus embodies at the second coming,
an ordinary man. Only the "eagles" see Christ at first. It is they
whom
it is said "every eye will see him of those on the earth"; only the
"earth"
is symbolic of Christ's chosen followers; the rest of mankind are likened
to
the "sea." Further, all of mankind would not mourn sympathetically over
seeing the sign of the messiah, many will reject the Christ. This is
another indication that Christ was only addressing those who would be
expecting him, the "eagles":
Matthew 24: "Where the carcass is, so the EAGLES will be gathered
together."
Eagles are the wise ones, the far-sighted ones out of whom is chosen the
"two witnesses" that watch over the Christ from the time he is born until
he
is tested for 40 years, after which he fulfills the 70th week and actually
becomes the "messiah" within a year of the mid-70th week passover, to "end
gift and sacrifice." That is, the first time Christ arrives he ends
gift
and sacrifice because he himself becomes the symbolic sacrifice, the
sacrifices of the temple were thus fulfilled after Christ's own sacrifice.
But another form of "gift and sacrifice" or ritual was established in the
Lord's Supper, which his followers were commanded to observed on an annual
bassis on Passover until he returned. When Christ returned he would eat
the
last Lord's Supper/Passover and then end that memorial observed while he
was
gone away. So in this sense he again end's a form of gift and sacrifice.
But that occurs at the mid 70th week to fulfil the 70th week again of the
second coming.
Now the first 70th week was from 29 to 36 CE, with mid-week passover and
Christ death occurring in 33 CE. It's a simple matter of counting down
periods of 70 weeks down to our day from 36 CE. 4 x 490 = 1960 + 36 CE =
1996. Thus 1996 ends the 70th week of the second coming, which falls
from
1989 to 1996. The mid-week Passover, which is the first after Christ
arrives occurs on April 6, 1993. So we know from this calculation that
Christ would appear no earlier than a day after Passover of 1992 but
before
Passover of 1993. This gives us the YEAR of Christ's return, but not the
DAY nor HOUR, since "nobody knows the day nor hour" but God himself.
Now the human messiah who is chosen from among Christ's secret followers
is
tested for 40 years before he is "cut off" or set aside as a special
offering at the beginning of the 70th week. So if he is in his 40th year
by 1989 he would have to be born 40 years earlier in 1949-1950 at least.
The messiah arrives shortly after the "great tribulation" (the Holocaust)
and the end of the 1290 days, which is the end of the gentile times, the
year when the Jews are restored to their homeland again, and thus 1947.
So
see how that works. The Bible says when the fig tree begins to blossom
again, know that summer is near, he is "near at the doors", meaning when
you
see the Jews in their homeland again in 1947, know that the messiah would
soon be born and the "sign of the son of man" would begin to appear.
This
"sign" is seen by the anointed ones expecting Christ, the "eagles" who
watch
over him like a carcass watched by eagles, and this is when the "sign of
the
son of man" begins to appear, which also depict Christ as a "carcass" or a
dead messiah, and thus when the dead messiah is seen in the clouds, then
they mourn over the dead messiah. That's another side discussion why
that
happens, but in fact, that has been happening since the birth of the
Christ
which would have to occur by 1949-1950 for him to be tested 40 years by
the
fall of 1989.
So for a short while there are actually two messiahs. One the human that
becomes the messiah at the second coming and the resurrected Jesus in
heaven, sitting at the right hand of God until Satan is cast to the earth.
Satan would be cast to the earth 45 years after the Jews return to
Palestine, meaning 45 years after 1947 and thus in 1992. Specifically
sometime between November 30, 1992 and November 29, 1993. But as we
noted
above, Christ must be already returned by Passover of 1993, April 6th.
So
just combining these two prophecies limits the time when Christ can arrive
to about 4 months from November 30, 1992 to April 6, 1993. So we know
potentially the MONTH and YEAR, but not the DAY nor HOUR still.
Now keep in mind it is a little complex in relation to this messiah. Just
as Jesus was born first and the heavens announced that, but he didn't
actually get anointed as the messiah until his baptism, likewise in this
case. Though he would be born between 1949-1950 and that is when the
"sign
of the son of man" would begin to appear depicting him as a carcass or a
dead messiah over which his secret followers would mourn over that sign,
the
messiah in heaven doesn't actualy combine with the chosen messiah on the
earth until 1992.
Again, this is illustrated in Revelation where the "woman", part of whom
the
"two witnesses" belong, but who has the wings of an EAGLE gives birth to
the
messiah while she is fleeing from Satan who has now been cast to the
earth.
When Satan is kicked out of heaven, Christ takes up his king****p in
heaven,
but must return to the earth in the flesh. He cannot use his perfect body
from the first coming since it was been given in sacrifice. So he
posseses
the body of one of his secret followers, depicted as being born from this
woman who flees into the wilderness. That child is "caught up to God"
meaning to his bosom position, the position of the messiah, thus the
messiah
takes up this body, apparently similar in appearance to the last body
Jesus
used just before his ascension into heaven.
Thus, since most persons are not expecting Jesus to be an ordinary man, he
is able to appear as a "thief in the night" to the world. It is as if
Jesus
were an angel pretending to be a homeless, sick person on the side of the
road, waiting to see who was Christian at heart and would feed him, clothe
him and attend to him, and which pious ones would cross the road in
disgust
and not have human compassion. Those passing him by, if they knew he was
the messiah and king, would have opened up their homes for the honor of
helping him, right. But they don't know who he is. Thus Christ knows who
are honest at heart, and those who just want to impress him and be on good
behavior because they know who the messiah is.
That's why really, even though you didn't know the messiah had arrived in
this manner in 1992 and you were nto part of the select chosen ones who
attend to the messiah, if you were doing what you were supposed to be
doing
from 1992 until now, then maybe one of those seats in heaven are reserved
for you! Remember, many will be chosen and find out they are king-priests
and it comes as a total surprise! That means some not even Christians are
chosen. But others who are Christians and expecting Christ but who are
not
paying attention to details of scripture, called the "sons of the kingdom"
will lose their seats in the kingdom because they are looking in the wrong
place, for the wrong thing at the wrong time. Those wise ones, the
"eagles"
who understand the nature of the second coming of Christ would form secret
societies in order to receive him understanding he must come in secret,
"in
the clouds" at first, as a "thief."
That's why Christ said: "The kingdom would not come with great
observableness. The kingdom is in your midst" because the "kingdom" made
up
of these secret followers would not tell anyone what is going on. So
kingdom members would be standing right in front of you and be in your
midst
but you wouldn't be able to readily observe them; they would not be
meeting
in public and could be members of any religious sect and still be chosen
kingdom members.
So nothing quoted contradicts this arrangement. The Bible intended for
Christ to arrive and surprise the world as a thief, to arrive "in the
clouds" meaning in a clouded, indirect manner not readily observed until
it
was time for him to be revealed. But by then the temple he comes to
build,
spiritual Israel, 1,440,000 king-priests sealed into the kingdom, would
have
taken place. Once Christ becomes known to the world at large, they will
find out if they were chosen ones in the kingdom or whether they were
excluded for having not remained "awake" to the second coming.
