There is an interesting paradox afoot here.... if deism or some
variation (eg pandeism, panentheism) is the TRUTH, and therefore
modern Christianity is NOT, then any city or country from which modern
Christianity has been driven out of control has, in fact, been made
more holy.... and, this being the case, we would expect to see more
civilization in countries which have discarded fundamentalist blind
and dogmatic grasping at the literal truth of the Bible, in favor of
more abstract deistic, pandeistic, or panentheistic interpretations of
general Christian principles of love and charity.... countries like,
perhaps, Norway and Iceland and Switzerland?
