My guess would be that he read the bible.
See in the bible Jesus calls himself the Son of man.
Now, why would Jesus use that title, when he knew the OT says God is not a
son of man??
Do you think maybe Herr Verhoeven has read Celsus, and preferred his
account
over the account that Irenaeus added to the gospels??
