Be ready for the coming of Christ at all times.
For you to be saved,
the Lord Jesus caused you to place
your entire trust for salvation on him,
transferring that trust from off
of yourself, efforts, ordinances, and church.
Do not let anything turn you back
to that self trust and self righteousness.
If you profess faith in Christ alone
for your salvation,
do not follow those
who actually consider their righteousness
for salvation to be themselves
rather than the Lord Jesus Christ.
To be ready for his coming,
your faith must remain in Christ alone
for your salvation.
