Faith for salvation is directed to Christ.
As the Scripture says,
For God so loved the world
that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him
shall not perish but have eternal life.
(John 3:16 NIV)
So then our repentance, obedience,
baptism, taking sacrament, service,
and giving is to be from love for God,
but our faith is not on what we do.
Our faith for salvation is all on Christ
who took our place on the cross to be
our entire righteousness for salvation.
