We can do more for the children in our area.
Boys and girls always enjoy hearing good stories, singing good songs, and
being included in other fun activities. Nothing is worse for a child than
to be left out or forgotten. If your Christian fellow****p does not
already
have a children's program that provides games and Bible lessons and
singing
and other fun stuff for kids, then you need to seriously seek God's face
for
such a program.
And don't just make room for the children of church families. make the
children's program reach all the young ones in your local area. Include
children from all around. Arrange special events that help the children
to
see Christian faith and love in action. Produce skits, plays, and have
outings, camps, and whatever else you can dream up (with God's help and
direction).
Mainly, have fun and make sure the kids do, too. Children need to run and
play and scream and laugh. Too few have the chance to do all those things
at home or in public schools. If so, then let the church step up to fill
the gap, and to help the little ones of every land to discover God's love
in
the person of Jesus Christ.
