God's love melts everything bad, mean, and
despairing. Love conquers everything, love
conquers death. But it must be God's love, a
kind of love that extends even to its enemies: a
love that strides unperturbed like a warrior
through everything and can never be insulted,
hurt, despised, or thrown away, and can never
be repelled; a love that strides through the world
like a warrior with the helmet of hope on his
head. That is the love of God, which will never
concede there is anyone who is not loved. I say
it boldly in the face of the whole world, in the face
of heaven and the underworld: Everything is loved
because Jesus is born. All should know they
are loved, and not one single person should
feel rejected--all are loved, because Jesus is
born.
