November 17
A very well-known person said recently, "Today
we have no need for miracles!" But that is not
so--or else we have to forgo the kingdom of God.
After all, what do we understand by "the kingdom
of God"? If our dear God can no longer prevail
on this earth on which we live, if God no longer
has any meaning throughout the entire world, if
the only thing that counts are humans and their
knowledge--then the kingdom of God is finished!
If I am no longer in the relationship of a child to
my Father, God, so that the outward circumstances
of my life can be left in his hands, and instead
must run around crying, "Help me!" to all kinds
of people--where then is God's rulership? If the
church is no longer able to pray to God as to a
Father, then we cannot think of the rulership of
God. The rulership of God must consist of
practical deeds on earth. And, God be praised,
these occur!

You Belong to God, Under the Rulership of God.
