Yes, they felt they were “God’s people,” a “new people,” “people of the 
future”; the beginning, the central point, and the end of all human 
history! They never hesitated to represent that the church unity they 
experienced would be the dominant power of the future Kingdom. They even 
went as far as asserting that the councilors of their own communities
would 
be capable of administering any large city of God, if such could exist in 
the present world age; whereas contem****ary government leaders with their 
lack of morals, bad character, and poor performance had no right to claim 
administrative superiority.
