When our wisdom, our intelligence, our
education, and our social customs and morals
do everything to kill Christ so that he only counts
for something when we are in church, and the
rest of the time we are ashamed of him--tell me,
what is that? It is hypocrisy, nothing else!
There are a great many people--wonderful
people--who are not yet aware of this. I want to
tear off the veil and clear the air a bit so that we
become honest and true before God. For truth
is the first thing God demands of us; if we do
not face the truth, all our religious humbug will
not help us at all. I do not ask you to simply
believe what I say. Think about it for yourselves!
