October 1 The devil goes away laughing at religious views and opinions and purely spiritual churches. For spiritual communities that do not have the corrective that comes from the reality of material life and physical work will soon end in a fiasco. Some day, in the kingdom of God, true activity and work will certainly be called religion. I am only writing this as a hope for the future. But it must be part of our preaching so that people do not feel that religious knowledge is anything of value. Rather, they should learn how to be truly active, together with others, and see to it that each one can have a fulfilled life. That is the mind and spirit of Christ.
