There are many people who do not understand
how God could have created a humanity that
wallows in misery and dies wretchedly. They do
not understand what God wants. God does not
want to change us quickly into different beings,
but he wants us to be his helpers; for that
purpose he has given us spirit. God does not
want to be our commander or dictator and rule
people by force. We are God's children--you are
his son or daughter. Take note of that and be
ashamed if you expect everything from God. My
children have to help me at home; they can't
expect everything from me, but have to help me
on their own initiative and not let themselves be
waited on.
You are God's son or daughter. You should
help God so that you become a changed
person, for God wants something new to come
among us, so that as his vessels we can
radiate the true light on earth. We are meant to
help so that at last there is evident proof that
God did not make us like animals that have no
control over themselves and are unable to strive
for anything beyond themselves. We human
beings must not remain as we are; we are
summoned by what is in our breast, by the urge
to reach upward, which can be aroused in each
person. We human beings are called to be true
people beyond ourselves, to come out of the
falsity of present-day achievements into
genuine activity and creation.
