September 6 "I will proclaim the name of the Lord. Oh, praise the greatness of our God!" Deuteronomy 32:3 If God is to be honored among us, we have to be ready to die with Christ. To die with Christ, we have to die a little each day. Then we may hope that all is saved and we can live on in glory as Christ does himself. But die we must; we must deny ourselves. If we have not completely died to them, our sins lurk around us and pounce on us. Life on earth holds so many temptations. We have to eradicate them deep within our hearts so that they no longer have any power over us. Then our lives will be firmly rooted--perhaps weighed down under tribulations, but secure and firm in the knowledge that "we shall live with him!"
