You're talking about yourself again.
You cannot mean me. I admit I'm wrong about something in here once a
month or so. And YOU can't even find the right group!
Here YOU are a Roman Catholic, hung up in the Baptist group! So you
definitely aren't right about EVERYTHING.

I thought it a cool experience. Back in 2002 on one of my bicycle trips
I spent the night in a cemetery after riding 105 miles. At about 75
miles I started looking for camp ground or a motel with no luck. We do
what we have to do!

Well John D. Weatherly as I have no little Doug Weatherly's or even
Nancy Weatherly's nor any books pending to take up my time I really
don't have much to tell anyone would find interesting. Now had I ever
been any of the things you have been, or done the things you've done
things might be different?

Why don't you take it on yourself to let Fred know of our mutual ardor?

Boast, brag.........self-aggrandize, puff-up, you name it.. the
individual posting the following crap sure fits the mold.
He claimed:
"Well, besides my genius IQ and my award winning photography skills
(BA
PHOTO-Journalism)... I'm perceptive."
WHO in God's name does that creep think he is, let alone who does he
think he is fooling? (other than himself?)
as well:
"Elaine, John H, Deacon, galia, Jim Agar...All "Christians", all
couched
in their own "Ya gotta be like me apostasies. I reject that. I
choose
to be like Christ, not like men."
Strange-- Jesus never engaged in kinky ***ual behaviors, never wrote
****ographic TRASH, never cursed people out, wished them evil,
poverty,
unemployment, homelessness, or illness; He also never lied, falsely
accused, or threatened.......yet the party posting that he 'chooses to
be
like Christ' has done ALL the afforementioned. something not quite
HONEST
in his statement.........

I think we're mixing apples and oranges here. It's one thing to build
a church so that the door faces east to take advantage of warm
sunlight. It's another thing to build your church so that the early
morning sun comes through the stain glass windows.
It's another thing ENTIRELY to, as part your ritual, to DELIBERATELY
bow down to the sun. And now that you have admitted knowing that, I
present you the 10 commandments.
When you bow to the East, you bow down to the sun, not to the Son.
There's a huge difference. Masonry, as De Molay, contains moments of
son wor****p.
Even though it's subtle. I do not believe today that Satan wears a
red leotard and red horns on his head. Satan is more subtle, his
minions are more subtle, and many aspects of his wor****p are more
subtle. As in, "if sun wor****p is this tame, how could Satan wor****p
or nature wor****p be all that big a deal."
"Well,we're sun wor****ppers in this home." (meaning ****ists)
"You shall wor****p the Lord your God! And Him ONLY shall you serve!"
" I don't wor****p any God! I believe in serving mankind!"
"You shall wor****p the Lord your God! And Him ONLY shall you serve!"

That's what I suspected. Churches tend to calculate where their
stained glass is going to be vs where the early morning sun will be,
or by where it will be during the majority of morning services, as in,
"From 9:30 - 1 PM, the sun will be HERE USUALLY. So we put the church
facing HERE, so the stained glass windows will go HERE." I have heard
that discussion several times.

Not really. Axel named more exceptions than you have named on your

And I would not have been privy to at least two DISCUSSIONS of the
topic with two different elder / deacon boards (2 different churches)
, "which way does the church face", if it were not up for discussion.
There may even be (likely) those churches who follow some sort of
mystic tradition from their particular tradition of faith (Eastern
Orthodox of the Eastern Lithuanian Reformed of Yocht)
And then the OTHER guy chimes in, "I'm of the Gibraltar sect, and we
disagree."
"And how many are there of YOU?"
"There are 17 of us, and we want to be heard."

I can only speak for Lutheran, Methodist, and Baptist. They all have
sanctuaries. I suspect the Nazarene do as well.

What exactly is Nazarene? Over here in Germany the predominant
Protestant denominations are Lutheran and Reformed. We also have
Bapist Churches and also Pentecostal Communities, which usually
consist of imigrants from Russia.

I know they are born again. I know there are pentecostals among them,
although, thank God not all are.
I have now known 3 Nazarenes, and none would describe the unique
characteristics of their faith. I presently have a homo***ual buddy
who is a Nazarene atheist. Even he would not explain, other than to
say, "there are pentecostals, there are non-penteostals. I believe one
thing I recall from our conversation is that they tend to be KJV-Only.
Over here in Germany the predominant
>Protestant denominations are Lutheran and Reformed.
I had both Lutheran and Reformed profs in seminary. The Reformed tend
to be among the most rigid, but at least MOST of their dogma and
doctrine are right on. I know there are differences between Reformed
and non-denominational, but I could not recite them.
I know Lutherans believe in "the presence." Baptist and
non-denominational do not believe in "the presence."
We also have
>Bapist Churches and also Pentecostal Communities, which usually
>consist of imigrants from Russia.
To whisper in your ear, there is STRONG evidence that the pentecostals
are what I have labeled "pretenders" and NOT Christians at all. Ask
about it if you're curious.
However, concerning the "signs" they claim to manifest, Paul said the
following:
2 Cor 12:12 The things that mark an apostle--signs, wonders and
miracles--were done among you with great perseverance.
Only the apostles were given signs. When the Apostolic Age ended, so
did the signs.
Those who claim to work signs among you will normally be false
teachers and false prophets.
Jesus was harassed for signs. He said
MT 12:38 Then some of the Pharisees and teachers of the law said to
him, "Teacher, we want to see a miraculous sign from you."
MT 12:39 He answered, "A wicked and adulterous generation asks for
a miraculous sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the
prophet Jonah.
I've known far too many "pentecostals" who pretend to "speak in
tongues". Tongues have not been real since the 1st C.

Well,if I were to compare the IQ of a mosquito fart in the midst of
the Alaskan tundra when it wafts over Mexico city & compare it to your
claimed IQ, I would realise you wouldn't get close.
BTW, my intelligences is so far above you that you can't understand
it.
That is based on your inability to back your claims with information
instead of invectives.
Example, your stellar response is the tone of silence to anything you
can't answer. Come to that, the only noise you make is that of a small
child with soiled diapers, a snotty nose & its first tooth coming in.
& that is being hard on the child who can't help itself. Supposedly
you are an adult, contrary to your posting history.

snip rest of jw'snormal trash talking.
walksalone who finds it a tad bizarre that a claimed trained
journalist, internationally acclaimed author in various fields,
seminary student/scholar, technical writer that literally rewrote a
30k page tech manual for the USAF, etc etc, can't provide anything but
invective to those that see through his BS.
Oh, & supposedly he is a grimorie authority, though he demonstrates
nothing to back that claim according to google.

How is it "showing respect" to pretend to belong to a path, for the sole
purpose of giving yourself credibility and social status? You've claimed
to
be clergy, with nothing but false labels and instant online ordinations
to
back it up, you've claimed to be a pagan elder, a Wiccan HPS, a lineaged
trad - all disproved - and now you claim to be Christian simply to attack
those whose Christianity isn't based on silly newage nonsense. I have yet
to
see you use either scriptures *or* the works of liberal theologians to
sup****t any of your so-called theological arguments.
How is it showing respect to constantly criticise a belief system without
even having the decency to investigate its tenets and its texts
beforehand?
You show absolutely *no* respect for anyone, "brenda". And before you
trot
out your old excuse about it being "Raven's way" to be disrespectful, let
me
ask you again. How does your dedication to the trickster deity fit with
your
pur****ted Christianity?

You are bearing false witness yet again, Mr John Weatherly.
Lie the First: Your commander, the man who commanded your Field
Maintenance Squadron in the United Kingdom, was assuredly not a general
officer nor the Convening Authority for any Courts Martial, Special or
General. Therefore, your commander had no say in the sentence of any
Courts Martial. He could conceivably have investigated the matters and
preferred the charges to the Convening Authority, but that is all. By
the way, all Courts Martial proceedings not involving classified
information are matters of public record, and the summary of findings
and punishments are always matters of public record, and are do***ented
and accessible by any member of the public just like any other
conviction for any other federal crime. Unless your unit commander was
the Convening Authority for your Special Courts Martial, and he was not,
your commander had no say at all in the sentence of the Court. The
sentence of a Special Courts Martial is always reviewed by the Convening
Authority, and that General has the right to overturn the findings,
remit any or all of the sentence, suspend any or all of the sentence,
but cannot increase the sentence of the Courts Martial.
Lie the Second: Mr Weatherly was never tried by a Special or General
Courts Martial, thus was never subject to a Bad Conduct discharge for
"unsuitability" because Bad Conduct discharges were and are only the
result of a sentence by a Special Court for specific violations of the
Punitive Articles 77 through 134 of the Uniform Code of Military
Justice, and never for broad administrative categories such as
"unsuitability." There were two categories of discharge when you were on
active duty, Mr Weatherly. Recall what those were? Come on, there were
only five discharges, three Admnistrative discharges and two Punitive
discharges. Bad Conduct discharges were punitive thus could only be
imposed by sentence of a Special or General Courts Martial. And that
was true from 1951 through 1990, and may well be true today. So unless
you were first tried and convicted by a Special Courts Martial, you were
never subject to a Bad Conduct Discharge.
Lie the Third: Your unit commander had not "petitioned the pentagon"
for any such thing. In the Air Force of the late 1960s and early 1970s,
the Combat Sup****t Group or Wing Commander had the final say on
administrative discharges, and if the discharge was appealed only then
would the appeal move up the chain of command. But all appeals must have
been instigated by the dischargee, that is, you, Mr Weatherly, and not
your unit commander.
Why aren't you smart enough to figure out that your lies are transparent
and readily revealed for what they are? By the way, you were discharged
under the purview of Air Force Regulation 39-12, and there is a specific
code on your DD Form 214 indicating the precise reason.
> Honorable.
Airmen discharged for "unsuitability" which actually read more like
"inability to adapt to military life" or "misconduct" were awarded a
General discharge. You were not the first to be awarded a General
discharge IAW AFR 39-12. That is your fourth lie in a single
paragraph..

you just got caught again, and are exposed for what you are. Yet again.

About the same time he provides proof that Paul founded physical church
buildings in Turkey that used Arabic numerals and "A.D." on their
cornerstones . . . about the time he realizes he is not a "Vietnam
veteran" because he was a jet mechanic in England during the Vietnam war

about the time he provides proof that he was a draft resistor who went
to prison rather than serve in Vietnam . . . and the list goes on and
on, but those are a few of his many lies. John Weatherly embarrassed at
being caught in a lie? No chance . . . .

Upon examining those 'a' words in the dictionary it seems you might be
right.
They appear to mean being ignorant on a matter rather than anti or
against.
However in the case of atheists, they're not always neutral on theism so
I
could be at least partly right.

Do I come across as a lecturer? Pardon me. I thought this was an open

Apparently I stand corrected on the prefix, but the word doesn't appear
to
have a fixed meaning because if you look up atheist in most dictionaries
you
will find that it says something like "One who disbelieves or denies the
existence of God or gods." while others suggest that it's a total
ignorance
or absence of knowledge on the subject, therefore I wasn't entirely
wrong.

We *all* live in our own little world. Don't know if it's true or not but

We're only human. We are what we are. If the Christian god can't handle

It seems that you consider that anyone who deviates outside the set

Don't you know that the censoring and metering of information is a good

Do you not believe that there's even the slightest possibility that
Christianity through the bible might be doing this?

Facts? Are you absolutely sure they are facts?
As far as "anything is possible" is concerned, sure it's possible that
there's a single ruler god who conjured everything up like a stage
magician,
but I can also see the immoralities of this god. What I don't quite
understand is why Christians are so blind to these blatant immoralities.

The word sin is only known and used by Christians, Muslims and maybe a

Actually I don't follow any god. To me a god is a ruler with big
shoulders
who tells people what to do. Basically a big headed egotist. I don't go
in
for that sort of thing.
I believe we are sovereign beings who have come here to experience
physicality and to test ourselves to see how easily we give away our
power
to others and let them control us.

Ok. But it's difficult to be specific about things when there is no way
to
verify what's true and what's not, so if one gets specific about
something
one can end up painting oneself into a corner.

You keep assuming and asserting that the bible has truth in it. What
makes
you so certain?
I also can't understand how people can see clarity and meaning in the
bible
when it just goes on about another race from another era and half the
time
it doesn't properly explain what it's talking about.

By searching for information, one will only ever find other people's
thoughts and opinions about things which they have written down. That's
about all we have in this world, other people's thoughts and opinions.

All we have in this world are other people's do***ented facts, and as you
know, people often get things wrong.
Christians seem to get all their facts from the self-witnessing bible and
a
few Christian writers and pastors, plus some archaeologists who are
mostly
also Christians who draw biased conclusions to bolster their own beliefs
before spreading it to others.

The process is not im****tant, just the result and speed of conjuring (6
days).
Also, everything is just energy in various forms and densities. A creator
merely re-densifies existing energy into different configurations. He's
really quite similar to a magician.
A true creator would be more like a horticulturist, cultivating life and
letting it grow naturally and in it's own time. The Christian god appears
to
be a very un-natural god, not to mention grandstanding, attention-seeking
and demanding.

An immoral god. (I typed this up this morning and no, no one told me
these
things. I figured them out myself. They are my own words)
- Commanding humans to love him with all their hearts, minds etc. Love
cannot be commanded because true love can only be given naturally and
voluntarily from one's heart. Children for example never have to be told
to
love their parents. They do it naturally. Obviously the bible god either
knows he's unlovable or he isn't entirely confident that he'll get our
love
so he makes it a command just in case. Obviously he also doesn't care
whether he gets true love or fake love because all he wants is to have
his
ego constantly satisfied.
- Giving the death penalty just because humans "miss the mark". If that
penalty was for mass murder then it wouldn't be so bad but even then
there
should be some sort of divine reform or education program but there
isn't.
Clearly evil.
- Saving up vengeance during a persons lifetime and then delivering the
punishment (torture actually) in one king-hit without having kept the
person
informed about how many bad points they've ac***ulated so far. If the
person
doesn't know how many bad points there are against them then they're not
motivated to change and improve themselves. Clearly the Christian god is
not
interested in helping humans develop and improve themselves but only in
carrying out his domination, wrath and vengeance plans.
- The blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The Christian god didn't give a
damn
who offended him because he accepted the human blood sacrifice of someone
who wasn't even guilty of anything (his own son/himself) as payment or
ransom (remember that a ransom is associated with terrorists and
kidnappers). Clearly all he wanted was someone's blood and death (an
innocent), just like the ancient false Inca and Aztec gods etc. The
Christian god was obviously adopted and modelled on those old evil gods
and
was merely updated, fleshed out and beautified a little to make him/it
more
easily accepted by the common rabble.
If the Christian god was really good then he would have instead called
for
the death of the guilty only. The sacrificing of innocents for the pagan
type gods is a tremendous waste of life and an obvious deception. It just
leaves more evil people in the world which clearly shows that those gods
were evil because they wanted to increase the numbers of their kind. The
Christian god's acceptance of these types of blood sacrifices (human and
animal) plainly shows that he's a remnant of them also.

Men are uncompassionate, not sinners. Lack of compassion towards the pain
of
others is mostly responsible for the above and the really bad offenders
are
in a minority. It's the media focus on all the negative events (for
ratings)
that exaggerates their numbers. More education is needed to teach about
being compassionate towards others and Christianity doesn't focus enough
on
this im****tant point. Remember that Christians also needlessly killed
thousands if not millions during the inquisitions and crusades and also
the
bible in many places condones rape, slavery and slaughter etc.

If sin means to "Miss the mark" then why does missing the mark carry a
death
sentence?
It makes no sense. Humans learn most by missing the mark and making
mistakes.
Do you condemn a child to death every time he/she misses a mark, or do
you
show him/her how to do it better instead so they learn something?
The Christian god is obviously not interested in us learning anything. He
just likes to dominate and punish us like a common demon.

The gospels contain a lot of self justifying propaganda. The thousands of
individuals who re-wrote and edited the scriptures over the centuries had
plenty of time to make it look convincing, pleasing and godly. There have
been some very creative minds in the world in the past. They weren't all
dim
and illiterate back then.

If you have to believe in something unseen in order to avoid fatal
consequences then it's clearly a fear tactic to get you to give away your
power and choice and become a slave to a power mogul. Fear is a tactic
used
by evil to gain easy compliance and passivity, and we all know how the
Lord
loves those who are passive.
