FWIW, he has demonstrated no evidence of seminary training...not even
in basic theological education...certainly not of the quality of Fuller
or Pepperdine. He is frequently flat out wrong about his claims...and
at other times makes such outrageous claims that would belie even a
high school education.
I've seen him post no information re theology or Hebrew and
Greek (granted, he's been kf'd for over a year now) that cannot be had
from the internet. OTC, he apparently didn't know Thomas Aquinas was
Roman Catholic and thought that Timothy wrote the epistles named for
him. Even the most basic theological education (certainly at both
Fuller and Pepperdine) covers Thomas and the Timothy gaffe would be
corrected in any college-level religion class.
I think his theological education, like his claim to be a "trained
writer," is mostly in his lofty imagination.

By the way, how much research did you do on me on-line?
Not much apparently. You have a lot of innuendo, but little or no
factual material.

And how much seminary training have YOU had?

You are funny. I didn't attend seminary at Pepperdine. I did my
sophomore year of college there on full scholar****p.
One of the two seminaries I attended was Fuller. The other, I've
already published, and you've probably never heard of.
He is frequently flat out wrong about his claims..
In your opinion. And who knows? YOU might be wrong!

Oh, well, maybe that's part of why! Duh!

You may think what you like. I won' t lose any sleep over it. I am in

yourself.
And please don't call me God. I do not make any such claim.

Well,if I were to compare the IQ of a mosquito fart in the midst of
the Alaskan tundra when it wafts over Mexico city & compare it to your
claimed IQ, I would realise you wouldn't get close.
BTW, my intelligences is so far above you that you can't understand
it.
That is based on your inability to back your claims with information
instead of invectives.
Example, your stellar response is the tone of silence to anything you
can't answer. Come to that, the only noise you make is that of a small
child with soiled diapers, a snotty nose & its first tooth coming in.
& that is being hard on the child who can't help itself. Supposedly
you are an adult, contrary to your posting history.

snip rest of jw'snormal trash talking.
walksalone who finds it a tad bizarre that a claimed trained
journalist, internationally acclaimed author in various fields,
seminary student/scholar, technical writer that literally rewrote a
30k page tech manual for the USAF, etc etc, can't provide anything but
invective to those that see through his BS.
Oh, & supposedly he is a grimorie authority, though he demonstrates
nothing to back that claim according to google.

And all I said is that it's also a cultural issue. What is feminine in
the US, such as men wearing skirts, is TOTALLY masculine and
acceptable elsewhere, such as Scotsmen wearing kilts (MY cultural
ancestry). Tell a Scotsman he looks like a woman in his kilt and then
count your remaining teeth.
And since someone else brought up hair length, the "Native Americans"
in the US consider VERY long hair "medicine" and the mark of a Brave.
I have SEVERAL male friends who are Indians, and their pony tails
sometimes get 2 feet long. Ask one of them to cut his hair, and he'd
look at you like you're crazy. Do you seriously believe that the
Native American with a 2 foot pony tail cannot be a Christian?
It's CULTURAL! Do YOU wash feet like Jesus commanded? He said if we
don't, we can't be Christians, or did He?
In fact, He did not! He gave those instructions to the 12. Foot
wa****ng was a cultural thing in Christ's day. Not today. And the
wa****ng of feet today would have a totally different, and less
im****tant meaning today.
To remain relevant to our society/culture, we MUST keep our faith
relevant. Example: I attended a Church of Christ university
(Pepperdine). Chapel was compulsory the first tri-mester, and I
IMMEDIATELY noticed that the COC doesn't have music in church. The
pastor explained that 1st Monday, "I've known of new pastors, fresh
out of seminary, who got to their new churches, and preached their
VERY FIRST SERMON on why COC members don't believe in music in
church." This pastor even admitted that, although he TOTALLY agreed
with this teaching, it wasn't appropriate for a 1st sermon!
In Christ,

a

Yes, because when that kid can understand that they need this type of
discipline and when they begin to listen to it and make changes based
upon
it. They will begin to win the genuine respect of there fellow posters,
and
not some pretended respect to keep the handicapped kid happy.
Do you want genuine respect, or do you just want us to pretend around you
to
make you happy. You would be surprised at how many of us are eager and
waiting to accept you for who you are rather than what you are always
boasting about. In fact I could almost promise you that those like
Ronald,
Lamarr, and myself are more loving towards you by being honest than if we
just gritted our teeth and took all your insults and pretended to like
you.

John, Character assassination is when someone makes up lie about your
character just to smear your reputation. No one is doing that to you.
NO
ONE! We are simply reflecting back to you the way you come off to us.

Why are you now at a state where you are untrainable then? Your story
just
doesn't jibe. One would expect that a person who could hold a 2.75 GPA
through four years of College to be imminently trainable. Please
explain.

Trust me, John, I am qualified to say this. The samples you have
published
on this NG. Do not reflect your claims. They are not amazing specimens

writing. I mean no disrespect, but that is just simply the truth.
Perhaps
you could post the best award winning piece you wrote.

Not supposed to be, in mainline Christianity! In too many churches,
I've discovered, non-believers ARE pastors! That's the fault of the
false church!
A REAL church would toss a "pretender" as soon as his pretence was
discovered, as happened at a church I attended. Van Nuys Baptist, in
van Nuys Calif, a MAJOR church in S. Calif, hired an Associate Pastor
who turned out to be a non-Christian pretender. He lied and told our
elders that he was NOT a pentecostal/pretender. That was IM****TANT to
our church. When we discovered he was a pretender, he was OUT!
Some "churches" would not care!
>Perhaps some of the most talented literature critics are atheists.

Well, what you are suggesting as an "improvement" in the church
amounts to destroying the church! Ain't gonna happen!
"I will build my church, and the GATES of HELL will not stand against
it!"
A master's in divinity from the LCMS holds about as much

You're not a Christian, so your POV is irrelevant! Who CARES what you
think? No one!

Not necessarily. It takes pretty smart people to translate ancient
languages. That's GUIDED education, but it does NOT prohibit a liberal
arts education, or continuing that education! Yo assume a LOT!
I've known a LOT of "free thinkers" like my brother, who has NO
education and isn't interested in education. He's FINALLY at 61 years
old, come to realize that if he's gonna be a "minister/evangelist",
he's gonna have to get some education.
An uneducated free-thinker! WHY? Too many free thinkers believe
"school has nothing to offer/ it's too "structured!" And thus, if they
get out of high school, they're doing well.
Free thinkers would tend to be criminals, since they don't recognize
boundaries to how they "think".

In your dreams! You're expounding a LOT with NO do***entation beyond
your mouth, which is WIDE open even as your brain atrophies! The one
thing you will nOT educate yourself on is the REALITY of the Bible and
Christ!
How can you call yourself TRULY educated if you refuse to read/study
one of the most im****tant classics in history, the Holy Bible!

You attack the church and "dumb christians" and then you call yourself

LOL!

This is going nowhere Paul! I've been as honest as I know how to be.
Yet you and others continue to ASSUME the worst. My life has been
unusual yes, but not unbelievable.
Yet I continue to see that wherever you don't quite get something,
like my degree AND disability, you assume the worst: no degree, and
that I'm just lying.
Neither is correct, and you're REALLY getting monotonous, boring,
repetitive, tedious, and... you get the idea.
NO matter WHAT I say, you aren't going to believe me. I've even given
you permission to contact Cal State U. Northridge, Pepperdine U., and
the seminaries. You would rather just continue ripping me.
That's not cooperation and a search for understanding. You're engaging
in a teenage game we adults call a "pissing contest."
I don't do those. I didn't even when I was a teen.

And rather than asking how I explain that (I can't other than I wasn't
nearly as ill when I was 30 as I am at 55. My disease is both
hereditary and in extreme cases like mine, progressive and
degenerative.) And you don't need to know. Other than Social Security
has rated me moderately to severely disabled. 25 years ago, I was NOT
so.
But YOU and other unloving HYPOCRITES NOTE my disease/illness and THEN
dismiss it ANYWAY, and say I'm expected to behave like YOU! Nuts! You
are upset because are a legalist, a rice counter, and you expect me to
jump through your hoops!
AGAIN: The solution is: Don't read my posts!
WHY ON EARTH do you read my posts when they're SO unpleasant? You are
a masochist apparently. That means YOU need help! (I can be redundant

When you ASSUME, assume, assume, and fill in the "blanks" in my
information ONLY with negative language, and REJECT even to check on
my education as I gave you permission, that is character
assassination. You think you have a grudge, an issue, so you forget
you're a Christian and an adult, and your favorite words for what you
don't understand are to liar and exaggerator. Rather than giving a
fellow Christian with problems ANY slack, you continue to kick me in
the balls! I've had QUITE enough, thanks. I've REPEATEDLY said, you
wouldn't make fun of or label a Downs Syndrome person. I believe I was
mistaken! From how you've treated ME, I'm sure you WOULD make fun of a
Downs Syndrome person! I've said REPEATEDLY I'm ill. You don't care!
How Christian of you!
No one is doing that to you. NO
>ONE! We are simply reflecting back to you the way you come off to us.
BUNK! You're as responsible for how I perceive you as vice versa! I've
taken the responsibility for the perceived mis-behavior on MY end. You
REFUSE to accept the responsibility for the perceived mis-behavior on
YOUR end. You wish to claim it's ALL my fault, and you're all just
innocent victims! You forget God is listening! My conscience is
CRYSTAL clear; I've told the truth; if YOUR's is CRYSTAL clear, you
don't have a conscience!

For the ga zillionth time, I have tried and I continue to try! Do you
suppose NO one Jesus encountered in His ministry/preaching bugged Him
half to death with "misbehavior"? HE, however, as God, was perceptive
(you aren't) that this person was doing the best they could, and
there's not indication in scripture that He healed EVERYONE! Or if He
DID heal the girl with Cerebral Palsy, He didn't REJECT her first! He
loved her and HELPED her!
Your CONTINUED parroting of "grow legs and get up and walk", the
equivalent on my end of your continued demand to "behave as you do" is
pointless.
But you HAVE managed to drive me from your list! Cong rats! I just
don't see ANYONE in here open to leaving the dead law behind, so I
leave YOU behind!
I'm sure you're VERY glad to see me go!
No more Truth in here from me! I leave you to Satan's lies, like EGW.

that time!
Paul is alive, and he's ashamed of you!

Again, I don't know how I got the degree and all the grad school. I
have two thoughts: God by pure grace showed me how to get through
somehow! OR I happened into a curriculum, PhotoJournalism, that I was
already HIGHLY qualified to do (we artistic people have INNATE talent

AGAIN, you sidestep the issue. And your totally ignorant opinion is
also irrelevant. Mensa does lots of stuff like charity. And its
purpose is to screen out the most gifted. You forgot that. If they
ONLY wanted to "collect dues", why didn't they admit ME since I only
failed by 2 points? One Question?
AGain, you ATTACK and ASSUME and throw your mindless opinions at me

Great! My poetry is mundane!
It's won awards! (It's not amazing in YOUR HUMBLE OPINION!) Do you
know how difficult it is to get poetry PUBLISHED? Like 10 times harder
than a short story or article! Forget a novel! (I've written 3 novels;
and no, I won't post them.)
So if my poetry is SO mundane, how's about YOU post 3 or 4 of
YOUR poems and let's compare YOUR writing artistic talent with MINE!
Yes? :))
>
>Perhaps you would allow me to read some of your published works.
You want MORE to laugh at? Hahaha! I've posted published work. If
you have read much of my posting, you may recall I was homeless for
about 2 years from 1999 to 2001. During that time, 25 pounds of
samples since my college years are gone. Besides, I could type in what
I have, but since you don't like one single little thing about me, it
would be a TOTAL waste of time on MY part! As I keep saying, you
aren't interested! You're trying to play one-up. I don't play THAT OR
pissing games, two of your favorites, it seems!
I've also received NO assurances from you or anyone Else that my
author's rights would be respected.
And that means even published stuff. I can change it slightly and
re-sell it, but not if you and your goon squad send it to 10,000 of
your collective buddies.

If you were an artist, you'd recognize the temperament/personality of

That ignoring my point isn't discussion! It's arrogance! I neither
need nor want nor desire your respect. I don't know you! I MEANT that

The two or three of you who have thrown those insults at ME are as
guilty as you say I am! Pot and kettle! I keep apologizing and saying
I'm doing my best. That isn't good enough! It's all I have.
The solution? Don't read my posts!

I didn't notice, or I forgot. It was the standard IQ measurement given
by the Psych Dept at Pepperdine U where I was a full scholar****p
student. (I don't care if you disbelieve THAT!)
>
As you SHOULD know, as bright and informed as you claim to be, the
only way to take a Mensa test is to apply to Mensa. I suppose you
could ask THEM!
But I believe that information is confidential. However, once you
have contacted them, let me know and I'll sign a release for you to
have that information. I had the do***ents until, as I alluded several
times previously, I was homeless for almost 2 years and lost all my
property, do***ents and all.
I know this typing is a total waste of energy. You're another
nit-picker! However, others will at least see that I tried to answer
your question, when they seemed within bounds.
>Again you make an undo***ented claim. The truth is, John, that any
>respectable psychologist would have informed you of the unreliability of

They did. And I replied that all I was interested in was did I have
enough gray matter to get a university degree? They assured me I
did/do! Assume, assume, assume! And you don't even give me the tiniest
benefit of the doubt! You aren't concerned with my soul! You want to
pick my "resume" to pieces! Good luck!
You didn't even bother to give us the name
>of the IQ test, whether it was standardized or not, who standardized it
and
>what was their criterion for standardization.
Z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z. I'd say a university with the standing
of Pepperdine U when I was there answers your skepticism. When I
attended Pepperdine as a J school, it was in the top 10 J schools in
America! When I matriculated to Cal State Northridge (where the huge
earthquake happened), I found myself attending one of the top 5 J
schools in America! And I carried a 3.75 into my senior year, when I
had an argument with a prof over his misquoting the Bible. I called
him on it; he gave me my first "D" in my university history. And the
last! He killed my 3.75 and reduced it to a 2.75. I barely got into
grad school. But I 4.0'd grad school.
All of this is vitally
>im****tant in determining whether the test is valid and if so just what
it
>was measuring.
Vitally im****tant to Whom? Youm? Big! As said, the two IQ tests I have
taken were administered by Pepperdine University School of Psychology,
and Mensa in Los Angeles.
Wanna check? Go right ahead, if it'll shut you up! You might ALSO went
to check on my full scholar****p to Pepperdine U. I'll let you.
In fact, you could check a little anecdote:
When I arrived at the school my first day, I had a sit-down with the
Dean of the J school, Dr. Clifford Wilson (you can check). He had
given me a full scholar****p, called a "Special Writing Achievement
Award". I thanked him for it. He thanked me for accepting it. I said I
was honored to be at a University with such polished professional
writers. He said I was one of them! He said that's why I and other
students were given scholar****ps! They recruited the best J students
from other surrounding schools, and then WE made the J school look
good! That's worth money to the school, so I was recruited as an
emerging, very talented writing, for which I've also received awards!
One award I received was (as I recall) a MEMO typed "Thanks for that
great job on the Foster Grandparents Program article!"
I thought, "So what?" Dr. Wilson said, "I can see the look on your
face you don't have a clue what you're looking at."
"No, I guess I don't. It's a memo!"
"Yeah, and I've been trying to get them to do it fancy since I've been
here, my 16 years (approx years). The special thing is, in my 16 years
at this school, that's ONLY the third MEMO I've seen!"
I said, "Oh!" beginning to absorb.
"That says you're a VERY special person!"
The history of the MEMO/article is this: I mentioned the Foster
Grandparents Program I wrote the article about. And I KNOW you've all
heard of the Foster Grandparents Program. They're all over the
country. Well, this was the Pilot Foster Grandparents Program! And my
article drew SO MUCH ATTENTION, it grew from there!
That was what that award was about! I don't take all the credit; I had
an editor who was already a working pro on the local newspaper, the LA
Times (if any of you have heard of it)

I quoted from a Robert Burns poem in a post to you
>a while back. Not only could you not even read it, but you went on to

At 3 or 4 am or so, I barely got through the poem, and NO, I did NOT
see the author. Big! To YOU it's a big! You need a life! BOY, YOU are
the guy who wrote the manual "HOw to Nit-Pick!" And you CERTAINLY
honor God!
>
>You, a Journalism major, and you can't read Burns? Incredible!
One has NOTHING to do with the other. Journalism, while requiring a
college degree, does NOT require one to read Elizabethan. And as a
non-Journalist, you have NO idea what the curriculum is.
What are they teaching you guys these days. Is this an example of
affirmative action for the educationally challenged?
While a Journalism degree may not have all the wrinkles of other
Liberal Arts programs, it DOES a unique thing. The Journalism degree
literally trains the student so that once he graduates, he is fully
competent to start working as a re****ter or freelancer. I chose
freelance. I can't stand media politics (we hear what they tell us).

Nonsense. You are expressing ONE person's opinion, which you

In your opinion. I've posted some of my poetry. I'd post some works in
progress or published work, but I have very little published work
available (stolen), and i can't put work in progress in here. I
wouldn't trust you or others to not misuse it.
If you think that my writing in here is indicative of my writing
talent, ridiculous! Shows you know NOTHING about the creative process.
I wouldn't show a POEM I hadn't worked on for a month at LEAST! The
work comes from the soul INSPIRED, NOT polished!
My poems are polished. My short stories and articles are polished. You
know NOTHING of that process, since I type "train of thought" in here.
That means spontaneously, in case you aren't a trained
journalist/writer and you didn't know that.

This fool would have us believe that God, the lackey, is at his beck and
call.
He isn't.
"God must...." "God must..." "God must..."
Just who the hell do you think you are, making demands on God?
God will do what He will do. God will not do what He won't do.
I guess He wasn't interested in your raving.
j
This reminds me of a funny story I heard while in seminary.
An atheist called a tent meeting. He claimed that he could prove there
was no God
in 30 minutes.
Needless to say, a whole lot of scoffers showed up, and a crowd rapidly
collected
to view this demonstration.
The foolish atheist raised his face and his fists towards heaven and
declared
"If there is a God, I demand you strike me dead in the next 30 minutes."
Then he stood there and waited 30 minutes. He talked about different
things, and
occassionally checked his watch. 30 minutes later, he laughed.
"ahahahahahahaha" "Well, I just proved there's no God. I demanded that
God strike
me dead in 30 minutes, and I'm still here. There's no God."
As the two women left the meeting that night, the one lady said to her
companion,
"Well, he just proved something."
The other lady responded, "Yes, he sure did. He proved that nobody can
totally
exhaust God's patience in 30 minutes."

This assumes you have the power to order God to do your bidding. You
don't.There
have been MANY proofs of God's existence.
And there is no way you can prove that He doesn't exist.
He has in fact revealed Himself hundreds of times throughout human
history.
Jesus is one such manifestation.
The vegetation that man can't create from nothing is another
manifestation.
I could go on, but I believe I've made my point.

That sounds remarkably like a cope out. The US is predicated
on what we today would call ethnic cleansing. The indigenous
population was destroyed or subjected to serve the creed and
avarice of European colonialists. A sizeable chunk of the US
population were trans****ted to the US as slaves for similar
reasons.

Your disability (I assume) is not an example of ethnic cleansing
or as in the case of American blacks an example of forced
transfer of population. American blacks were use, abused,
raped and generally treated like dung by white European
colonialists. Reparations would help to restore the balance
if only to repay them for the years of their sweated labor that
brought the US a prosperity in which they never shared.

Compared with what the North American indigenous population or
