This one is Christian, and likely you will find quite a few Christians
in here who believe in sup****ting our government, whether we'd bow
down and kiss GWB's feet or we would not.
I for one have utterly NO use for George W Bush as a politician, a
person, or a President. However, he IS the President, and as such, my
view of Christianity is to respect both him and his office while he is
in it.
History will tell us in 20 years or so (if our planet survives that
long, of which I am VERY doubtful) whether he turned out to be one of
the WORST, or one of the best!
He certainly ALREADY has left us a far better, more honorable legacy
that the most corrupt President in American history, one William
Jefferson Clinton.
Clinton, you might recall, stated during his first CAMPAIGN that he
believed that far too many Executive Orders had been written by his
predecessors, and if he won, he would not write ANY, or that he would
write VERY FEW. By the time he left office, he had issued more
Executive Orders than the previous 5 Presidents PUT TOGETHER (iirc).
And there were several DOZEN Orders from Congress for him to turn over
do***ents during the impeachment process. He stonewalled and
stonewalled (fearing HARD prison time for himself and his wife), and
to this day, some 150 "missing Presidential do***ents" REMAIN missing.
If / when they are found, William J Clinton and H R Clinton may YET do
hard prison time.
Do***entation? Check out a very well do***ented source called "The
Death of Outrage" by one William Bennett.
In it, he outlines some 5 pages of criminal offences committed by W J
Clinton and H R Clinton for which they have NEVER answered.

I once attended church at one church for some 15 years. (the church I
was born into). I became a Christian at the age of 5, and then my
parents and the pastor made me wait til I was 12 to actually "profess
my faith" and join. I had been a member/Christian for several years
when one of the wives of an elder (called a "Deaconess" as I recall)
came forward. She was a woman in her 50s, "had been a DEVOUT Southern
Baptist her entire life, but one Sunday morning, she became aware in
the Spirit that she had never actually given her life to Jesus Christ.
She came forward and gave her life to Christ that day, and the entire
church was STUNNED.
As one of our evangelists, Mr Josh McDowell, has put it, (I've been
told someone else whose name escapes me), "going to church every
Sunday of your life doesn't make you a Christian any more than living
in a garage makes you a car!"

I apologize to anyone BUT "Phar Lap" ("Bree") if the above admittedly
bad attempt at being funny offended.
Please note that a number of people use asterisks when they mean to
"swear" as an attempt to convey the meaning without "actually
employing the naughty words."
I was attempting to put Phar Lap / Bree in his place and also make a
joke of the "asterisk" bit.
Sometimes even the best of comics (Robin Williams, Gilda Radner) bomb.

On the Other Hand, to directly address an issue Phar Lap has raised
yet again, he spends 99% of his life in here, ripping into Christians

VERY ill the past 24 hours, and I took it out on you and others.

I was in the military during the famous "6-Day War" when MULTIPLE Arab
nations attacked Israel, unprovoked (back BEFORE Israel even had a
"territory".) It was the goal of the Arabs to "push the Jews into the
sea", and to "destroy the vermin once and for all."
The Jews fought back FIERCELY, and conquered the territory. Why should
they now "give it back."?
The Jews once again occupy the land they conquered THOUSANDS of years
ago, and it will likely go down in history as one of the dumber moves

The Israeli's last week accepted a cease-fire so that the Lebanese and

Hezbollah HEROES used that ceasefire to ASSAULT Israel yet again!
What is this "return the land?"
If one nation attacks the other and is defeated, they do not get their
land back! Losing land is one of the penalties of waging war!
If you don't want to lose your marbles, don't play marbles!

I am saying that the demons are those who are saying perfectly
horrible things. "F* you and your Jesus f*in Christ!" and so on.
Having dealt with half-a-dozen demons in the flesh (quite literally),
what we call today 'the demon-possessed", I can usually spot 'em a
mile a way.
It's a combination of not only what ugly things they SAY but how they
act.
A typical atheist has NO reason to act VEHEMENTLY anti-Christian. He
certainly has the choice of QUIETLY not believing in God. No problem.
When he confronts me and tells me not only am I a wussy boy (and he
doesn't use a "w"), and that my God is a wussy boy, that is
inexcusable, and that kind of "cursing God" is the kind of activity a
demon would engage in.
I am saying when I knock on someone's door to present the gospel, a
"not interested" is one thing, and I can take the hint. I've had that
happen a hundred times.
When the person opens the door and throws boiling water at me, and
then lets loose the string of expletives I suggested earlier (that HAS
happened to me), that is an indication of demonic activity.
PEOPLE simply have no reason to act that way.
Demons DO have a reason to act that way. It's called "hatred of all
things holy."

By the way, don't get me wrong; I am NOT a George W Bush fan.
I have my own issues with him.
For ONE thing, Clinton signed a TERRIBLE "anti-crime" bill when he
first took office that is unConstitutional (that outlawed the
possession of handguns by law-abiding citizens).
IT would not have passed if we had not been suffering under the most
Liberal, Left-wing Congress in recent memory.
George W was asked about that UNConstitutional law and he said he'd
leave it alone, because it's "a good law." It isn't a good law. It's
the first law I've heard of that was made "infinitely retroactive."
And it turned THOUSANDS of law-abiding citizens into criminals with
the stroke of a pen.
I DO believe he was / is FAR superior to his opponent, BOTH times.
"We must sometimes make the best of the choices we are given."
And since he is President, I will not dishonor him. I also will not
paint him Lilly-white.

Presidents are like ice cream. One day popular, the next not so
popular.
He's hit some record highs as well as record lows.
AGAIN, I would not want a President who would take popularity or

A practice history tells us one WJC did!
And just a few years ago, America's women (those who actually elected
WJC) were polled for why they put America's most corrupt President
EVER (WJC) in office.
