America has been led astray by Bush coupled with the entire Republican

Gonzales, a stool-pigeon liar who is unqualified to lead any
organization let alone the Justice Department. And then there is Cheny,
Bush's annointed warrior, who claims he is not part of the Executive
Branch of the American government. And a long list of others, some of
whom are in jail now.
The Constitution requires that "high crimes and misdemeanors" be the
basis of impeachment. If Bush's actions don't clinch an immediate
conviction when impeachment begins then no president will ever be
impeached because the Congress doesn't have the guts to do it. Clinton
merely had a little sleezy *** while in office and then fibbed about it.
Hardly the gross violations of lazy Bush himself and his administration
staffed with equally incompetent, stupid, goons.
I once sup****ted the GOP but virtually all of the presidential
candidates of the GOP now are clones of Bush or liars themselves (Romney
has more faces than the town clock, McCain is stuck in old world
thinking, Thompson is a joke, etc.).
America needs a new direction. I'm going with the Democrats in 2008
but I'm afraid Hillary is just the same old crap we've been stumbling
with for a long time.
Obama looks better and better to me all the time. We need new thinking,
a fresh outlook, and a leader we can trust. Barack may be just the
thing that will set America on a new course that is critically needed.

I myself put some missing information in Wikipedia concerning a
celebrity I know (who I won't name for personal reasons). I checked a
few days later, and a chunk of the information I had put in (the
unflattering part) had been removed. I have no doubt that the
celebrity checked on her entry in Wik and deleted the unflattering
material.

Excuse me, Christian Beauty. But I must disagree with you here. There
are those Baptist churches that hold women down, but it certainly is
not scriptural. You must look at who said it, to whom, and under what
cir***stances. That particular passage was addressed to the Corinthian
women!
In fact, if you were to do a study of who the different letters
(epistles) were written to, they were written to the ELDERS (pastors)
of the different churches. Re-read those dozen or so "intros" very
carefully once again.
You will note that 2 of the epistles were addressed to WOMEN (female
PASTORS) AND their congregations.

Also note that Paul underlined that teaching as he said, "for in
Christ there is neither rich nor poor, slave nor free, Gentile nor
Jew, MALE NOR FEMALE."
Meaning, both male and female can serve EQUALLY in church. Now for
MYSELF, I discovered that TRUTH in my 40s, when I had already become
accustomed to male pastors. So I PERSONALLY am not comfortable with
women in the pulpit as the SENIOR ELDER.
However, the ONLY REAL distinction based on gender for the Christian
is the distinction between the husband's role and the wife' IN THE
HOME. And those roles are "divvied up" and decided and NEGOTIATED
differently for each couple.

of our federal government and our Pentagon would

You ASSUME nothing is happening because you don't see what's
happening. But if YOU don't see what is happening in Iran, in North
Korea, in Afghanistan, in Kuwait, neither do our enemies!
Just because our military and the "military commentators" say, "there
really isn't anything we can do about..." doesn't make it true.
There are
