When the man asked: "Which" commandments?" Jesus quoted
from the Ten Commandments and added: "Love your neighbor as
your self" (See Matthew 19:17)
The Ten Commandments are the Commandments of God. They
are the law that defines sin:
"Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is
the transgression of the law."
1 John 3:4
While not Commandments of God, that define sin, the scriptures
teach modesty in dress and temperance to protect us from
temptation that could lead to transgression of the law.
