The appropriate question is what did Paul mean when he used the word
"meats". It is dishonest to define his use of "meats" contrary to his
meaning. The correct answer is established by the context of the word
and its Greek meaning.
The issue of 1 Timothy 4:1-5 is commanding to abstain from flesh-
meats --and to say otherwise is deceitful. Any reasonable person
would know if we are commanded to abstain from "foods". we would
starve to death.
The people who believe and know the truth understand that Our Creator
approved of His Creation when He called it "good." His judgment of
"good" applied to the living creatures as well as the herbs.

After the flood, God blessed Noah and his sons and said unto them:
" ... Every moving thing that liveth shall be MEAT for you; even as
the green herb have I given you all things."
The pride and arrogance of Adventists is astounding when they present
themselves as wiser than their Creator who blessed his children and
gave them flesh-meat to eat. For them to suggest that The Heavenly
Father's perfect gifts are inherently harmful and must be rejected is
devilish.
ELLEN WHITE HAS COMMANDED EVERYONE TO ABSTAIN FROM MEATS:

FLESH MEAT. Let them and their families live up to the light of
