Although the ritual law is called the Mosaic law, Moses himself did
not conjure them up.  GOD DID!  They were indeed good for the purpose
they were created for:  As a memorial of Christ and His upcoming
mission and sacrifice being the Lamb of God!

Many of you may well be forgetting that ceremonies like it were
practiced well even before the Flood of Noah.  Cain and Abel offered
sacrifice to the Lord.  Cain offered the products of his garden while
Abel obeyed the Lord and offered his sheep for sacrifices.

They were not condemned for doing that.  It's just that those
sacrifices pointed to Christ and didn't actually save anyone why
statements appear to point to it as bad.  It was only intended to be a
memorial of future events with Christ.
