Do you know where you will spend eternity? Are your sins forgiven?
Consider what the Bible says about God and about you.
WE ARE ALL SINNERS. "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
... There is none who does good, no, not one" (Romans 3:23, 12).
Everyone who has ever lived (except Jesus Christ =96 1 Peter 2:22) has
sinned against God. This is how God sees you.
DEATH IS THE PENALTY FOR SINS.
"The wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23). As surely as we have sinned,
death is the sentence for those sins. This is how God must judge sins.
JESUS CHRIST TOOK THE PENALTY FOR OUR SINS. "God demonstrates His own
love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us"
(Romans 5:8). "Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the
unjust, that He might bring us to God" (1 Peter 3:18). Since Jesus
Christ lived a sinless life (1 Corinthians 5:21), God punished Him for
our sins. He was our Substitute! This is how God can forgive your sins.
ACCEPT CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR. "If we confess our sins, He (God) is
faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). "If you confess with your mouth the Lord
Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead,
you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). All you must do is confess to God that
you are a sinner, believing that Jesus died for your sins.
=A0=A0This is how you can get right with God.
Why not confess your sins to God right now, and receive His forgiveness?
If you feel God speaking to you by His spirit, convicting you of your
sin and calling you to trust in Him to give you salvation through
Christ, you can talk to God with a simple prayer such as this: =A0=A0
Lord Jesus Christ, I admit that I am a sinner in need of forgiveness, I
believe that you died on the cross paying my sin debt in full, and rose
from the dead. I now turn from my sin and receive you as Lord and
Savior. Amen.
Please let me know if you just prayed this prayer, so I can rejoice with
you!
