*************SPV.....We are talking and he is a retired guy about 10
years old that hangs out at the YMCA.....Oh, by the way, if anyone in
Boulder wants to get Enlightened and they want to sit with a real
Master then all they have to do is come to the YMCA pay $12 for a
shower or whatever the daily charge is or buy a member****p which is
like $50 a month and come sit in the lounge in the morning because a
real Buddha sits there in the morning for 3 hours about each day until
I get tired of sitting and I also give Darshan then too. Meditation,
real meditation and/or prayer is done by remaining awake in the
present and in the presence of a real Master this is easy to do as my
Buddhafield keeps you in the state of the present.
So Joel says to me, "You ride a bike and don't you find it dangerous
with all the cars?" And I said, "You have to be aware of the cars and
then it is not very dangerous at all." He says, "You have to be
cautious of the cars." I replied, "No, that is using the mind. You
really need only be aware of the cars." And he argues and of course
he is wrong because he does not, as most of you do not know what you
are. First, people that are not Enlightened will say that love is the
center and God is love. This is about absolutely wrong.
Awareness is the center and pure love. Love and hate are two sides of
the same coin and love has very many values while, awareness is just
ONE, and with one value. Awareness is beyond the mind and thus beyond
Judgment, and thus it is pure love. Now pay more attention.
You can be aware of your thoughts. You can be aware of your feelings
and more im****tant your feelings of love. You can be aware of how the
body feels. You can be aware of the concepts you think and the person
you think you are from your memory.
You cannot use the mind to know your feelings. You cannot use the
mind to know how you feel. You must become aware of the cars around
you because if you know a car is come you instinctively will not step
into its way, but to be cautious does not save you, it only tells you
of the danger you might be in but a mature man or woman knows getting
run over by a bus will harm you and thus it is second nature and thus
you do not have to think to get out of the way because just to be
aware of the bus will make you get out of the way whether you are
cautious or not.
It is not being cautious Joel, that saves your ass because being
cautious is of the mind while your heart, your center of awareness is
some 30,000 faster than thinking with the mind and will move you
automatically out of the way as long as you are smart enough to know
to be hit by that bus is harmful to you. Once you become aware of the
bus you will move automatically to safety because being safe from a
bus about to run you over is second nature to you.
Now of course I am right because being aware moves you from your
center and that is what the mind and being cautious could and would
never do. First you have to see the danger. Second you have to
figure out if it is dangerous or not. Third you have to tell yourself
of the danger and convince your body to move. Fourth you then have to
move.
When you are aware all you do is become aware of the danger and you
move naturally without figuring anything out. You just do it
naturally and automatically and completely and fast too!
