Nam Myoho Renge Kyo
When the sun of the Buddha sets in the west, its remaining brightness
will extend to the east. Because this sutra has a connection with the
northeast, you should respectfully transmit and propagate it. When I
reverently read this writing, my eyes streamed like waterfalls and my
entire body was filled with rejoicing...During the two thousand years
of the Former and Middle Days of the Law, Buddhism flowed from west to
east, just as the moon appears in the western heavens at the end of
the month. During the five hundred years of the Latter Day of the
Law, Buddhism will spread from east to west, in the same way that the
morning sun appears in the eastern skies.
