An appeal from Saint Thomas the Divine
Since announcing the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem nearly
six
months ago, I have not received a single response from anyone. This is
very
disheartening for me, for I am an actual angel of the Lord.
What I am finding is that most people simply cannot afford to give ten
percent
of their income to anybody; at least, this is what they tell me. I assume
this
is most of you also.
The good news is that for just $3.00 per week from most of you, I can
begin my
work on this most important project. Think about this; for just twelve
dollars
a month you can have a hand in the most monumental event since the
resurrection
of Christ, namely, the rebuilding of Jehovah's Temple in Jerusalem.
The project will take close to one hundred years to complete as I intend
to
spare no expense in the rebuilding of the Temple of my God. The architect
for
the project has already been chosen by Jesus. He is my associate from
Cornell,
Mr. Jay Delair - a Black man like myself. I do not know where Jay is at
this
time, but I must find him. The last time I saw him was in Manhattan about
twenty years ago. If you know where he is, please drop me a line.
For very little money, you can have a hand in the greatest event of modern
times. While most people's contributions will not amount to much,
cumulative
donations totaling over one million dollars will be rewarded with a
special
commemorative plaque bearing my signature and thumb print as well as
signatures
from the Prime Minister of Israel and its chief Rabbi.
The rebuilding of the Jewish Temple is an event that words just cannot
describe
for it marks the true establishment of God's kingdom on earth, something
the
truly faithful have awaited since ancient times. This project marks the
return
of the ancient world of the Bible with its animal sacrifices and all the
like
to the fore; this is what the kingdom of God is really all about. The sad
thing is that a lot of Christians are deluded about this point. If you are
not,
then please make a commitment right now to send $3.00 per week to the
above
address.
For just $3.00 per week, all can have a hand in something special like
this!
Think about it! It sounds like a god deal to an angel. This is the minimum
contribution it will take to do this; you may give more if you wish. Try
to
make it a merry Christmas won't you.
All contributions are completely tax deductable. You will be sent
statements at
the end of every year detailing your totals.

CORRECTION:
In my previous pastoral letter (#8) I made several predictions about my
own
future. These have been modified slightly. I predict that I will be
valedictorian of either M.I.T. or Cornell within four years or second
Salutarian of Harvard within two years. Also, I will run exactly 34
seconds in
the 400 meters at the age of 100 in the Olympics. These are the only
modifications to those earlier predictions. When all these things have
taken
place you will know for sure that a prophet of the living God has been
sent to
you all!
